Just a place to sleepPosted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels
Hotel smells funny fitness room is even worse! Carpets were dirty also. Guy at the front dear will talk your war off even when it is clear you are walking away, he followed me halfway to my room talking. Around the hotel there is nothing to do no good places to eat either. Just a place to sleep!

Okay for just night.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: I was able too book when everything else was booked.
Cons: Beds need to be not so high, breakfast needed to have more pride
Location: High knob mountain.
Disappointed no pool. Beds were so high off the ground I had a very hard time getting in to bed. Bed was very uncomfortable, the sheets did not fit correctly and came off every night! My son liked the bed. It was way too soft for me. Breakfast was a disappointment, egg/ cheese omelet was frozen and after warming in the microwave it was hard. Waffles cooked hard.

Surprisingly nice!Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: The door lock on my room was odd in that the door opened by lifting up rather than pushing down that is more common. Change the handle.
Very attractive hotel. Well maintained grounds and interior. Hotel desk clerks, night and day, were very polite and helpful. They were always smiling and seemed to enjoy their work. Room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable, not a cheap thin mattress but an expensive thick one. AC was quiet and unobtrusive. Internet and TV worked fine.

Good for the moneyPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Quiet, clean, close to food and stores and highway
Cons: breakfast selection, room design
Location: close to highway and scenic mountains
Quiet and satisfactory no real issues. Would have preferred a sink/vanity away from bed so as not to disturb roommate with bright light and noise but room was clean. Could have used some kind of fruit at breakfast for those health conscience. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice and comfortable.Posted Jul 30, 2014 on Hotels
Beautiful location and friendly staff. Needs some repairs to help with the aesthetics of the hotel. For example, drywall patches which are not done correctly and look unprofessional, They were not even painted over. For the price of the room in that region I'd expect better quality.

Solid choice for the areaPosted Jul 15, 2014 on Hotels
This review is from a "low maintenance" customer but this place was a solid choice for the area. The breakfast was a light fare but adequate. The room was clean with good internet access. The staff was very helpful and worked with me when I needed to extend my stay. The AC unit (wall mounted below the window) is a bit loud, but not enough to keep me from sleeping soundly. The hotel does have one washer/dryer set (coin operated) for use. I would choose this hotel over the others located at the US 23/US 58 intersection.
