Appleton Houseboat Rentals

"The TV lost signal and no staff members were able to fix it. They wanted to charge me more money for clean towels “I don’t live”there, I’m only staying for 3 days. Speaking of people who “live there” they are loud all 24 hrs which made it difficult to sleep and I was concerned about their strange behavior by the front door as I had my children with me. Also, even staff members and “live in guest” smoking by the front the door, which is truly unhealthy for everyone!!! There is a designated “smoking area” everyone should have to use it. Expedia should know these types of hotels are NOT appropriate for family vacations!!! "

"Room was dismal. Killed two spiders. Window had a gap from top to bottom, so very noisy traffic. Very small bathroom. Sink did not drain well and toilet ran. I did manage to fix toilet so it was not running all the time. Not pleasant check in staff. Did not seem to want to be bothered. Hallway carpets dirty. This place needs to be renovated. If you weren’t depressed before you stayed there, you be after your stay."

"Unfortunately this hotel is in dire need of repair. It was not inexpensive, so the quality should have been higher Wyndham would do well the close this facility to renovate instead of trying to make money . I am not likely the use another Wyndham property."

"For a 1 night stay it was okay. If I had a longer stay I would prefer another hotel. They did have coffee, shower amenities in the room. It was nice that breakfast was included with my booking… but we stayed on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. The bathroom door squeaked super loud every time you opened it. I woke up around 6am because I kept hearing the doors open & shut from the hallway multiple times. But the staff was very nice! "

"I paid Expedia in advance but showed up last night to stay at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Appleton and they did not have a room for me. Near by hotels were also full so I slept in my vehicle in their parking lot for awhile and then drove 3 hours through the rain to get home. Expedia please refund my payment for the hotel room you did not reserve for me. Tim Andryk"
