Close to many restaurants

Overall experience was good. Only thing to complain about was the pool was warmer than the hot tub.

Good. Arrived during snow storm. Pool was closed for maint but hot tub was great.

Pool area was down for repair.

I wish i would of been notified before i booked with 3rd party or hotel. The carpets in rooms was very old and dirt. The bathroom was very tiny couldn't close door. The hotel also had a oder.

It's a last resort place to stay if all the other Hotels are booked due to a Packer's game.

Location: eating places,easy to get to,light house on lake winnibago
The room was clean .The bed was comfortable had a good night stay.

Pros: There was plenty of hot water. I appreciated the fridge and coffeemaker.
Cons: Wish I'd known about breakfast. Wi-Fi was unusable. Maintenance issues, renovation noise - seriously, loud noises at 7:00pm on a Friday night?
Location: Door County is two hours north. Sturgeon Bay has a really nice maritime museum and waterfront. I'd have stayed there if I could have booked earlier.
I pulled up and parked in front but the main entrance was closed due to renovation - I was directed by the sign to the back entrance at the opposite side of the building. There I found a sign taped to the door saying "..we will be making some renovations to the hotel so we apologize in advance for any odd smells, weird noises, or anything of that nature." Check-in went ok, but there were a lot of loud drilling and sawing noises between (and likely before, as I was out for dinner) 5:00pm and 7:30pm. Second night was better after getting back in the afternoon, there was only a little squealing drill noise that ended around 7:00pm. The room was all right, although drab. I did like having a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, but the room and the hotel felt as though no effort was made to make it feel comfortable. The trash bin by the back entrance was surrounded by trash. One end of the main hallway was being used as storage. I realize that renovation isn't necessarily easy to manage in a hotel, but it made my stay a lot less nice than it could have been. I wish that Expedia would note in the listing when there is construction under way that will impact the guests' stays. Apparently there was breakfast - I only saw that when checking out, nothing mentioned about breakfast on check-in and no handout with that kind of info. I don't usually complain about hotels, but there were quite a few areas where the management just didn't do a good job, and it all added up.

Easy to find

Pros: The breakfast and the easy access to the hwy.
Location: There are good restaurants nearby and a very nice park is a short drive away.
This is an older but nice place. The indoor pool was good size with a nice hot tub. The breakfast area was very clean with a good asst. of food, both hot and cold. Our room was clean but had cig. burns in carpet near bed( motel no longer allows smoking), Once pool closed the room was quiet with no street noise.
