Great hotel at red sea

Pros: Private beach.
Cons: Check in.
Location: The city centre of Aqaba is very close.
Beautiful hotel, lovely breakfast and close the the city of Aqaba

Beautiful hotel grounds, lobby, common area and pool. Rooms and hallways are looking a little tired. Furniture, paint, doors were all looking a bit tired and used. Could use some attention and updating. Staff was amazing.

Cons: check in and check out process
The check in and check out process overall I would rate Terrible. There were not enough stuff members for the volume of guests. We waited 2+ hours to get a room after check-in time & check out took an hour. These 2 specific processes were very unorganized.

Beautiful place. All the smoking is annoying

This is a beautiful hotel and property. It earns it's five star rating. There are some downsides for Americans however. There is smoking everywhere. Even our non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke. That is my only complaint.

Come only in the winter months

Pros: Great location
Cons: Pricey, Pricey, Pricey. Eat and drink outside.
Location: Plenty of choice restaurants, cafes and bars. Credit cards are not universally accepted in the downtown area.
So hot it is unbearable to spend more than a few minutes on the beach. very spacious lobby and a great pool with very attentive staff. English is spoke here.

JUST OK FOR IHG

Pros: Ocean area
Cons: People smoking every where
Location: Good for walking to the town, where food and drinks are reasonable
Check in was a disaster, charged for the room I already paid for, mix up, confusion, anxiety, not good, the room was on the side, view was questionable, room was nice, large bathroom, the pool and ocean area was nice, people smoke every where which is annoying, the buffet was good but only had it one day, expensive for anything, good to walk to town, not to far.

Not to international 5 star standard

Disappointed there was no 2nd single bed for my teenage son - he had to sleep on sofa bed, not made clear in room booking. Also when we checked in there were no extra towels, cups, glasses brought to room. We had to call down and request each day. Bed was made everyday and towels changed but floor was not cleaned during stay. Facilities were excellent but as everywhere in Jordan no such thing as no smoking areas, this was a real negative for a non-smoking family to walk into lobby and reck of tobacco. Concierge was non existent- supposedly opened at 8am each day, was never there, made booking boat trip just about impossible - thankfully the wind was too high so we decided against going.
