Will never go to another movenpick hotel again

The hotel is run down. Very dirty rooms and the whole hotel smells like smoke and everywhere you go people are smoking.

Nice hotel with a private beach

Pros: very good facilities and the location was great
Cons: maybe upgrade the rooms they look a little old
Location: very close to the beach so many activities to do and also very close to the shops
The hotel was nice but i do feel its a little old and the rooms could do with some attention, but wasn't bad in terms of the location and the facilities.

Fun hotel, good location, swimming options

No complaints- easy checkin, good room with sea view, multiple pools (though most were filled with kids), private beach is right on the property. They do serve alcohol at the bars, but it's expensive. Front desk can help you find local restaurants where you can get a drink for half the price.

Basic Guest Facilities lacking despite the luxury

Pros: The public areas.
Cons: The room facilities are not currently 5-star by any stretch of the imagination.
Location: Snorkelling, swimming.
The hotel looks splendid, the public areas are grandiose and everything, except the private beach, is spotless. However, for a 5-star hotel the deficiencies are notable. There was no bathrobe, no slippers, an empty mini-bar, only 2 very small bottles of water. There was no assistance from security for the flight of stairs from screening to the lobby. The in-room safe was not working and I had to wait for 20 minutes and two different operatives to get it to function. The private beach had cigarette ends and cotton buds on it with full ashtrays. Reception of the only two European news channels was very poor. Compared with a 4-star Marriott on the Dead Sea I had stayed in a few days before the Movenpick failed on most counts. Huge public areas and beautiful grounds do not make a 5-star hotel when basic guest requirements are not met.

Very average hotel

At arrival the room was not ready and they asked us to come back at 4pm to check in. We returned back at 4pm and the room was not ready and the service at the reception was terribly slow due to what they claimed "system down". I ccould see the frustration in many guests faces. Finally we got the room at 4:30pm but unfortunately the room was not clean. I could see many marks on the bed sheets and pillows. The curtain was discusting like they have never cleaned it. The overall cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory and far from all other 5 stars hotel we have used in the past.

Pros: Location
Cons: Welcoming drink for guests, inspecting the rooms before delivery, fast response to clients’ requests (which is basic and should be available)
Disappointed with the quality of service and condition of the rooms, which were not inspected before out accommodations (AC was not working, doors do not lock). The treatment and service delivered were below the expectations of five starts hotel. I will not come back again and for sure will not recommend for others.
