Close to the metro station Brochant the hotel is a good option for a short stay in Paris. The staff is nice and respectful, the rooms are ok. Nice boulangerie in vecinity. The rooms are bit small like all parisian hotels actually. Clean bathrooms, air conditioning in room. Do not expect a view from the room.

Nothing Artistic About

Posted Oct 18, 2017 on Hotels
Art Hotel Congres is located at equidistant from CDG Airport n Orly Airport and Uber will cost u about Euro 30. Half Srilankan Receptionist Catherine is nice and cooperative. Lobby has few art pieces as the name suggests but it ends at Lobby Level. Rooms are small ,carpet is filthy and it definitely require refurbishing very quickly. It is definitely pricey hotel. Hotel has elevator and Breakfast room is at basement level. The best portion of the Hotel is Breakfast room. Breakfast was good continental but u can make your own Boiled Eggs/Scrambled eggs. Hotel also has nice patio. Metro station Brochant is walking distance- about 8 minutes and is on Line M 13. Surrounding is quiet but there are few restaurants n Convenience stores around. Indian Restaurant is nereby Shah jahan and Shivalaya . Best area to stay in Paris for Indian Vegetarians is near Gare Du Nord station. Stayed: September 2017, travelled on business

Sweet hotel out of the noisy city center

Posted Oct 14, 2017 on Hotels
Firstly I must start and say that the staff of this small hotel where outstanding. They were all very polite, welcoming and willing to happily take care of any of our requests and needs. Regarding location, this arrondissement of Paris is off the beaten track for most typical tourists, but we found it worked well for us. As in a city like Paris all the top tourist attractions are scattered all over the city, you find yourself constantly on the metro getting about. Therefore, we preferred to stay out off the hustle and bustle of the city center, save on the cost of accommodation and stay on the metro for an extra 2-4 stations when leaving or returning to our hotel. The area itself has caricature and give a feel of local Parisian life. Don't miss the cute pedestrian street that runs parallel to the hotels street. Lovely townhouses set in a picturesque environment with lovely foliage and a great vibe. Though the staff keeps the hotel clean and tidy, it is a bit worn and rough in some places. Efforts are being made to improve this and while we were there, they were replacing the wall to wall carpets with new Parquet flooring. Breakfast was up to standard and so was the dining room (breakfast area). Overall would recommend this hotel.

Bad experience.

Posted Oct 5, 2017 on Hotels
It was a terrible disappointment. The rooms were not cleaned everyday and we had an altercation about that. No clean towels, no clean sheets. rude people . It was the end of our trip and we wanted to change the hotel, but were stuck because of the cancellation policy.

Dear Jeannette, Thank you for taking time o share your experience with us. I am surprised to read that the staff was rude to you. Yet we often have good feedback on the welcome and friendliness of our staff. Would it be possible that there was a misunderstanding due to the language barrier? Regarding the cleaning, we actually do not change the sheets every day but cleaning is done every day: emptied bins, towels changed, bed pulled, vaacum.. Once again, we apologize for this inconvenience and be sure that we are doing what is necessary to prevent this kind of situation from happening again. Best regards

Too far!

Posted Sep 25, 2017
When I was looking for a hotel in Paris on Expedia I put in city center. I got everything but that. The hotel was nice and that was in my price range. When I arrived at the bus station from the airport my taxi fare was $50.00 from city center. I should stay in a more pricey and spacious hotel because I paid a lot in taxi fares. Which was a big problem. All my money went on taxi. By the way there wasn’t any nice dining restaurant close. The hotel was at a small side corner I didn’t felt safe outside. The hotel should be little cheaper in price. Just because of location.

Dear Monique, Thank you for taking time to give your opinion. We are sorry for what happened to you. however our hotel is well signposted on the website and you can see we are located in the north of Paris. Concerning restaurants, we sent our guests to some restaurants on the area and they are generally happy about it. Thank you again for your comment. Best regards
