Stayed five nights in the Splendor and appreciated the unique decor and friendly, helpful staff.
Would recommend this hotel highly and cannot understand it only having a 3* rating!
Already planning to stay here on our next holiday in Paris.

The Hotel is small but very updated and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, they really like it if you try to utter little sentences in french, lol. very convenient to Porte Malliot which is a hub for metro/ and trains that goes all over the city and to Versailles. Taxi from the Airport to the hotel is around 50 euros . Plenty of coffee shops and French restaurant around the hotel. don't forget to try the mussels! Just beware of the chinese restaurant across the street, the chinese lady is really rude!

If you're looking for a hotel room for you and your older children, look no further than the family rooms at this hotel. The staff are all very efficient and friendly, although there was one member who let some needy customers rattle her, she could have remained calmer.
I can't comment on the breakfast because at twenty euros a head, it just looked overpriced.
The rooms were comfortable, attractively decorated, clean and quiet. I'd definitively recommend this hotel to a friend.

Pocket Guide: Paris Arc de Triomphe - Palais des Congres Hotels
A desirable residential area, the 17th 'arrondissement' is north of Place de l'Etoile (the star-shaped roundabout at the Arc de Triomphe) with easy access to the suburbs of La Défense and Neuilly-sur-Seine. Parc Monceau is an oasis of English landscaping on its southern edge. The working-class neighbourhood of Les Batignolles lies to the east.
