This property has unique and interesting antique furnishings and decorations. Our bed, for example, was shaped kind of like a queen-sized gondola. It was amazing! The bathroom had a shower as well as an enormous jetted tub.
The hotel was located on the corner of the main street of town, with a little park on one side. There was a nice restaurant almost directly across the street, and another one about a block away. The hotel, itself, had a snack room, where guests could get lots of different kinds of snack foods and cold soft drinks for free. There was also a free wine bar, (but we don’t like wine, so we didn’t use it).
The only problem the hotel had was that some of it was still under renovation from hurricane damage. The owners, who were very friendly and helpful, have great plans for the place. I hope to go back in a year or two, to see what they’ve done.
