Very cool springsPosted Sep 25, 2015
Very long drive from airport, but pool spring was worth it. Don't buy a drink at the bar 2 drinks $40.00. Had trouble with shower but tried to fix right away. Would go back. Richard

Great hot springsPosted Jul 3, 2015
The hotel is great! The hot springs are the best part but it's best to either stay only one night or do an excursion there because that's all there is to do there. The buffet was beyond amazing too!

wounderful place to relax in hot-springsPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: HOTSPRINGS, the jungle-gardens to walk around and the birds singing early mornings.
we decided to relax a few days in the hotsprings of ARENAL, baldi was the only HOTSPRING total available. WE ENJOYD IT!! used the various pools 2-3 times a day and my ARTHRITIS almost disappeared after 6 emergence during our stay. breakfast: so so as in all our hotel-stays this time in CR. the italian restaurant has good food.

Bad service ruins an otherwise lovely hotelPosted Mar 1, 2015 on Hotels
We had to wait around 30 minutes until the front desk staff bothered talking to us, there was one employee talking to another couple, explaining about the area, they had lots of questions, and other front desk staff just standing around and not willing to take care of us. Then, she told us we had to wait until 3 pm for check in, no attempt was made whatsoever to find if there was already a clean room since we arrived earlier. And guess what, when we came back at 3 pm, we had to wait again (around 15 minutes) before someone from the front desk attended us, and even then the room was not ready we had to wait there until 3:45. Then in the rules it said we had to pay 100$ for each hour that we are late in checking out... wonder why we didn't get anything for the late check in. In general, every staff member we talked to was not very nice and didn't seem to care at all, including the bartenders in the swim-up pools. The room itself was nice and comfortable, but they put all the rooms very close together even though they have a huge resort, and there was a lot of noise, day and night, made mostly by other guests and some by cleaning staff. Was hard to sleep. The pools themselves are great, with a large variety of pools in different temperatures. Wifi was rather good, breakfast was good, although service was lacking, no one bothered refilling the juice.

Great pools and beautiful resort!Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The pools!!
Cons: Bathroom tub in our room was not up to par with the rest of the room.
All of their staff need to be trained to live up to a four star resort. The breakfast was great, but lunch and dinner menu was the worst food we had in Costa Rica.

Atención de primera calidad.Posted Oct 8, 2014 on Hotels
Es un hotel muy bien planificado con atención muy esmerada. La disposición de los estacionamientos es algo incómoda pero entiendo que ya se está trabajando en eso.
