Highly recommend this hotelPosted Aug 28, 2016
Beautiful surroundings and view from room's 2nd floor balcony, well-kept grounds. Enjoyed relaxing in the spacious, secluded jacuzzis. Casa Luna's staff were extremely helpful in arranging transportation and excursions. Alberto's taxi served as our Costa Rican Uber, he was timely and efficient in taking us to La Fortuna Waterfall (<5min drive), and to the restaurants and hot springs nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, would highly recommend it to anybody traveling to La Fortuna/Arenal.

Very nice hotel close to most of the attractions.Posted Aug 27, 2016
I traveled to Costa Rica on my own. So when I was looking at places where to stay my top priority requirements were safety and convenient location. Casa Luna met all all of my expectations and more. Besides conveniently located to La Fortuna, a tourist center on the North Part of Costa Rica, it also is safe, clean and staff is extremely courteous and kind. I had a room with the view at Arenal volcano. It is just gorgeous. the room itself is clean, furnished simply- two twin beds, AC, TV, dresser and a nice shower. The mattress is not the most comfortable, but it was okay for, since I had only stayed with them for 5 days. It was a big relieve to not have to deal with bugs and staff. But, I did have a "guest:)", who has decided to share a room with me. I'm talking about tiny tiny type of house lizard, socalled "Geico". They are harmful, but I would prefer for it to be out. Other then that there were no huge bags or spiders in the room. The food was tasty. I only had breakfasts included. I had tried their dinner selection couple of times, and I was satisfied. Overall, Casa Luna is a perfect place to stay if you travel to La Cortuna. It is great for families, couples and single people. It is close to most of the attractions. The staff is very friendly, kind and always there to help. They had helped to book all the trips, that by the way were amazing. Your guides are knowledgeable, passionate about what they do, fun and extremely friendly and kind. good job guys! Pura Vida.

Great hotel, tucked away in a quiet areaPosted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: -A few minutes drive from town of La Fortuna, which was great for us since we had a car and the nights were quiet, peaceful and felt right in the thick of nature (but could be a little annoying if you had to cab it) -Generally clean rooms and punctual housekeeping -Front desk staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful, also spoke great English -Good complimentary breakfast -Hot tubs!! (there are 4 hot tubs, so you get privacy!) Cons: -Our room was far from the front, so our WiFi was spotty at best

Clean room for a fair price in the Fortuna area.Posted Jul 12, 2016
Room was very clean but the beds were average in comfort. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet offered at hotel had few food selections and the quality was fair at best. There is nothing within walking distance. However, the choices in the Fortuna area are limited and the price for a room is fair in comparison to the other area hotels. If your biggest concern is a clean room, I would recommend this hotel as an option.

Wifi was only available in the restaurant and lobby. Seemed to have been a temporary problem....

Lovely, lush grounds - nice placePosted Jan 26, 2016
Beautiful grounds, saw lots of birds. The room was clean and other than a toilet that wouldn't stop running, everything worked fine. The "mini-bar" took up entirely too much room and we tried to clear it all away to have room for our things but it was still in the way. Lovely breakfast every day (it was included) had a good variety and was delicious. We only received ONE key and requested two (for a party of four?) We never received the other nor did the front desk follow up as promised. Otherwise staff were attentive and we had a pleasant stay.

Relaxing stay at ArenalPosted Oct 25, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was comfortable and had beautiful landscaping. The room was a bit cramped. Bathroom wasn't overly clean but was acceptable. I would stay again if in the area. Staff was great and extremely helpful.
