Beautiful resort with lovely gardens and hot poolsPosted Feb 5, 2016
Pros: The bungalows were clean and quiet.
Location: Not much to do near by, but the resort had decent food options.
A free facial was included with a two night stay - this was a pleasant touch.

Beautiful hotel, best service, great locationPosted Feb 5, 2016
I cannot say enough about this hotel, this was our first stop of our trip. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionist and complimentary drinks. Room was clean and spacious. Beautiful grounds and wildlife. Hot springs were wonderful to have on site! The bartender May is such a sweet heart and catered to our every need. Brought us drink jacuzzi side. Booking tours through the hotel was painless and so easy! Loveeeeeeee this place!

Beautiful and PeacefulPosted Dec 10, 2015
Pros: The central location for Arenal activities, the peaceful and beautiful grounds, the friendly and helpful staff, the birds, and the convenient dining.
Cons: The consistency of the food preparation. The same salad had different ingredients on two days.
Location: Central location, near Mistico Hanging Bridges, Ecoglide zip line, La Fortuna Waterfall, the Chocolate Tour, and downtown La Fortuna.
The lush, manicured grounds were attractive to many birds including toucans, tanagers, and oropendolas. Each morning fruit was placed on trees around the breakfast room so we could watch the birds while we dined. Our private villa was comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a perfect view of Volcan Arenal. Several thermal pools on the grounds were delightfully relaxing in the evening after active days. The staff were all friendly, gracious, and helpful. They changed our villa to a quieter location, helped identify birds and loaned us a bird book, helped us with our halting Spanish, and gave good advice about local activities. We ate all breakfasts, a lunch, and a dinner in the dining room and enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. We were 100% happy and satisfied.

Cozy lodgePosted Nov 30, 2015
Pros: Little farm, birds at breakfast, hot spring pools, landscape, welcome juice cocktail.
Location: It is like 7 km approx. to the city. All kind of activities to do in volcan Arenal.
This is a cute and flowery hotel. Everything was excellent. It is a great alternative if you have a car. It is very close to La Fortuna. Great breakfast, rooms as cabins in the middle of lush gardens, enjoyable hot spring pools. The only constructive criticism would be to update the bedding.

Wonderful relaxing oasisPosted Oct 27, 2015
This place is so calm and relaxing, beautiful gardens, we especially loved the natural hot springs only footsteps from our cabin- your own slice of paradise- no need to visit the touristy hot spring resorts. The pool area was clean and inviting. Breakfast good and staff were delightful. Restaurants and cafes of La Fortuna only 10 mins drive. Only negatives were the lighting was really dim in the cabin and the pillows too hard but we didn't spend much time inside!

Relaxing stay, wonderful food, excellent hotel!Posted Aug 28, 2015 on Hotels
The food was excellent - some of the best food we had in Costa Rica. The people were very gracious and were willing to make any food vegetarian. The thermal springs were very clean, nice, relaxing, and not crowded. We really liked that you could see birds in the tree while you were eating breakfast and lunch because they put up fruit in one of the trees. Wonderful experience!

Schönes Hotel in schöner ParkanlagePosted Aug 19, 2015
