not friendly at all, we had a really bad experience with not expert staff in Tabacon resort hotel maximum is 3 star hotel You don’t feel welcome and we saw Insects and cockroach in our room and call the room service and front desk they didn’t do anything!!!

Such a beautiful place. The staff is very well trained and everyone is very friendly. Everything was amazing! My only complaint would be that the hot springs weren’t as hot as I expected and very shallow water. I have visited other resorts around the area and their springs are better. Other than that 10/10 experience.

Very nice hotel , we were welcomed with a welcome drink and taken to our room in a golf cart . Everything was perfect the only thing I wish we knew is that the springs are at a different location and you need to take a quick 3 minutes shuttle ride to them. The restaurant was delicious I would really recommend

Quality of food is not as good as it used to. Last time i went was 2019, they said many things were changed, i found most to be the same, only food was different tho not for the best. Service was great as aways.

The best luxury spa resort I've ever been to. The staff is truly unique. They greet you with a welcome drink & hot towel, valet is free, and they are such a professional staff on site. The rooms are incredible, the mountain views are breathtaking, and the hot springs are amazing. We had the honeymoon suite and loved every moment. The restaurants on site are also incredible and breakfast is included. 10/10

Tabacón is an absolute beautiful resort and spa. The staff are all so welcoming, kind, and extremely helpful. The staff helped me with contacting excursions, drove me to my room when I hurt my ankle, and soo much more. If I come back to Costa Rica I will most certainly stay here again. It’s like paradise here!

The Hotel was amazing, however booking it to Expedia was a total disappointment. Several Spirit Airlines across the state had a system failure and they cancelled our flight to LaFortuna. I called Expedia explaining the issues they refused to help or reimbursed us not even a discount or credits was giving to us. Will never book through Expedia again.

The pros: The hot springs are breathtaking. The nature, mixed with the gardens, creates the perfect combination for a peaceful place to let yourself go. The staff is well-trained, and you’ll receive only top service. We went to Los Tucanes Restaurant just one night, and we had a tomahawk; it was Soooooo delicious!!!!!!, five stars there. The Cons: After 10 pm, there’s nothing else to do, NO NIGHTLIFE!!!! There is just a bar and it is way too expensive for the standard room’s quality. The soap bottle didn’t even pump properly. I have been in hotels where I have received great rooms for less than half of the price; however, in general, it was a good experience for the hot springs and the restaurant. If I go again, I will get a day pass for the hot springs, and dinner at Tucanes Restaurant, if possible, but I'll pass the hotel; the rooms are not worth it.
