Great location and breakfast
Good place to stay. Clean, very safe, and the breakfast is chef-like. I gave some fours for a little noise tthat comes from other rooms through the air duct. One guy in particular was a loud talker 24/7. Not much they can do about that.

The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. We really like the hotel location being next door to the main plaza and within walking distance of most interesting areas. You can easily pop back into the hotel for a bathroom break or a quick nap. Highly recommended and we certainly stay there again should we vist Arequipa again certainly

Great location and fab bed
Great location right next to the main square. Room and bed really good. Breakfast good. Its a bit of an oldbuilding so there ard noises and i was on the street side but it didnt bother me. Would recommend and eoulx definately stay there again.

Love this little hotel,or Boutique . their staff and services were very friendly and ready to help us with ALL our questions. Our room wasn’t huge, but was very confortable and clean. Our breakfast was ready to go when we need it early then normal hours or very healthy when we eat over there. It’s very convenient, closed to the Plaza , market, restaurants etc.

Prime location half a block from the Plaza de Armas. Close to everything. Breakfast was amazing, truly 5 stars. Comfortable rooms and beautiful rooftop for lounging and photos with perfect view of the Misty. Affordable price. My family and I are American but were born and raised in Peru. This hotel caters to both locals and tourists. Very happy with our stay.

We had very limited time at the property but the rooms were great, staff friendly and a lovely courtyard we wish we had more time to enjoy. We opted for the pack up breakfast as we had an early tour, they provided a lovely breakfast and also a great cup of coffee.

The woman who prepares breakfast is a treasure, and the hotel cat, Picchu, is a cutie. I enjoyed every facet of my stay except it was a bit cold at night and the portable heater didn’t help much. Also, there should be a few more kitchen cooking utensils. Otherwise it was an amazing hotel.

Pretty good except for acoustic insulation
Breakfast and breakfast staff were amazing. I found the behavior of the desk staff surprisingly cold, perhaps it’s cultural. They never greeted me before I did. Not a problem. Very clean overall. My sole regret is the lack of sound insulation. Even with ear plugs you can hear everyone around you.

Los Tambos was a winner from the start. Prompt personal communication from booking including providing for very efficient and cost effective airport transfer. The location could not be more ideal with the Plaza de Armas, city centre attractions, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies a few steps away. The hotel is warm, lovely decor and well thought out rooms; everything you need to be comfortable. Complemented by very courteous, professional and accomodating staff. The breakfast provided as complementary is impressive. A wide variety of choices, all freshly prepared in no time and beautifully presented. Not to mention the taste! Great way to start each day. Me encanta Los Tambos!!

Los Tambos is a cute small hotel just off the main square of the historical district, great location for exploring the best of Arequipa. We stayed three nights and enjoyed good sleep on comfy beds, bathrooms with good shower pressure & hot water. We had a superior room which was def bigger but looks out on a busy street. Not a prob except the festival night. Great 4th floor breakfast room with made to order options from omelettes to vegan to fruit crepes to breakfast sandwiches. The morning we went on a super early day trip they had great lunch bags for us. Loved the 5th & 6th floor decks where we took drinks bought at the corner store for breezy down time. Every member of staff from reception to breakfast to maids to bell boy were lovely. The staff here was the best in the 6 hotels we have used in Peru. Def a nice stay.

This trip was for our 1 year anniversary. When we arrived there was chocolate, a card and letter from the general manager on our king size bed. On Our anniversary the restaurant staff made us this crepe to celebrate our day! Thank you Los Tambos for a great stay and we will be back!
