Nice find just minutes from town center

Pros: courtyard, location
Cons: plain and unadorned rooms
Location: five minute walk to Plaza de Armas
Our room was simple and largely unadorned but the price for what you get was excellent and only a 5 minute to walk to the Plaza de Armas, the epicenter of most of why you come to Arequipa. The hotel was off the charts in terms of charm (beautiful, colonial courtyard) and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is lovely. There's a beautiful courtyard when you walk in, and the rooms are simple but charming. Everything is very clean and well kept-up. It's a great place to stay and a very reasonable price.

Charming Romantic Hotel in Arequipa

Posted Sep 25, 2012
Pros: The room was large. It is very old world romantic hotel.
Cons: You could hear the guest walking through the corridor at night pulling their luggage.
Location: Conveniently located only 4 blocks from the Plaza de Armas and tourist spots.
The hotel is very nice in the romantic sense. It is probably between 200 and 300 years old. It's obviously an old house. The room was quite large and it had a decent bathroom. The hotel itself is very charming and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is four blocks from Plaza de Armas and the street is well lit at night. I would never recommend walking alone but it felt very safe. The courtyard and corridor are made of stone and river rock so when other guest walk through pulling their luggage you can hear everything. Other than that extremely pleasant.
