This well maintained apartment in the very heart of historic old town is spacious, clean and has a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, large fridge, small freezer, dishwasher, iron and washer. There was no microwave but with a wealth of restaurants and cafes on the doorstep, this was not an issue. Stefano is very helpful and provides lots of little extras, tea, coffee, condiments and toiletries.
The combined front bedroom/living area overlooks the very busy Corsa Italia, the main thoroughfare. However despite this we did not experience any noise issues from either outside or other apartments. The main bedroom at the rear of the property has a comfy bed and pillows, plenty of storage/hangers and access to a small sunny balcony. Fans to both bedrooms, fairly effective but would benefit from A/C.
Another bonus is the small but efficient lift, which in our experience is rare in older buildings and a real bonus given the apartment is on the 3rd level. Definitely would recommend this apartment.
Pros: Centrally located in this lovely medieval town.
Cons: Very secure apartment however a safe would be a bonus.
Location: Full of character, antique shops, churches, main square and a fort. Good train networks to visit other town such as Cortona, Perugia.
