Hotel in process of renovation & upgrade

Location: It is a short walk from the Inveraray Hotel to the jail and to the castle for the Duke of Argyll, chieftan of clan Campbell. We interacted with both.
This is becoming an excellent hotel. Our room and bed were of medium size and comfortable. The bathroom was OK; however the shower is an experience in guesswork plus your cleverness. There are adjustments that defy logic, so ask for help. The buffet breakfast is very good and presented by efficient staff. The lounge and restaurant are excellent--in many ways remarkably good food.

Pros: The staff were nice and cook food for my dietary requirement
Cons: Room was very small, it was cold and i had to switch the heating. The radiator kept making this noise as it was banging. The toilet/shower streamly small. Tv not good options and the bed made noise!!!!
Location: The location is perfect

Pros: Quiet location and friendly staff. Good food and service.
Cons: Make guests aware and give options for lower floor rooms for guests with mobility problems.
Location: Quiet little town with Inverary castle and gaol close by.
Room located on second floor, only accessible by spiral stairs. It was the only drawback on our two night stay. :

Pros: The hotel was adequate as a bed and breakfast. Its location was fantastic.
Cons: The whole hotel was extremely warm and a window lock in our room stopped us properly opening the Velux and getting a good night's sleep.
Location: Stunning scenery overlooking the loch and very close to the castle and old jail. Good restaurants closeby.
We stayed for one night whilst travelling from central Scotland to Campbeltown. We took the last room available and ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel. For evening entertainment, we went to the George around the corner which has a lively bar that stocks local ales.

Pros: the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the accomodation
Location: Nice walking areas with local history which included Inveraray Castle, and there are plenty of shops if you wish to browse or make a purchase.
Where this hotel is located allows a beautiful view across Loch Fyne and beyond, we enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome at reception and were given all the details about the hotel including eating arrangements and the position of our room. We took a short walk along the shore and were astounded by the beauty of the countryside and the shopping facilities which were available near to the hotel, it was a nice sunny day and this made it more enjoyable. We had our evening meal within the bar and from our seat could see the views. The food was of a high standard served by staff who were prompt and polite. our room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we would require. In the morning we enjoyed a cooked breakfast from the hot buffet and tea and toast was served at our table by courteous staff.
