"One night stay to put me in the right position for onward travel, perfect for that being so conveniently located opposite the train station. Had an early start so didn't have breakfast, but did enjoy a nice evening meal of steak pie and chips, with a great view from the restaurant. Struggled a bit to get my room at the right temperature and didn't sleep brilliantly, but I don't think that was the fault of the hotel, rather my travel plans meant a 6am train and I was focussed too much on when I needed to get up. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. I shall certainly be coming back to spend a bit longer and explore the beach and some of the other villages along the railway line."

"Tucked away at the back of the house the glamping pod has everything you need, the owner is friendly and helpful and there if you need anything. The pod is well equipped and spotless. We loved our stay there and would recommend. "

"Found it quite easily and whilst the door lock is as sensitive as described got in ok. Room is a good size, clean and I liked the novel catering solution. Suited perfectly for my visit. Easy parking and a short stroll down to town if steep hills aren't a problem."

The pub that is attached to the hotel was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return. "
