DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Arlington DFW South

8/10 Good

"We enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and clean, our room included an armchair, I was pleasantly surprised by the personalized welcome message upon check-in as well! Here's the things that weren't that great: - Swimming pool isn't open 24/7 (while it is great that it's open until 11pm, most of the time when we travel, our days are packed with things to do. It would be amazing to come back to our room and have the option for a late swim to decompress) - No free breakfast (they do offer an onsite restaurant with a paid breakfast at $15.95 per adult, $11.95 for kids) but, for the non-rich everyday folks that are traveling, and have a tight budget (and kids), this can be your deciding factor - No microwave in rooms (but one available near the front desk apparently--we only found out close to checkout--we stayed for 3 nights) - Mini fridge is pretty tiny (we had issues trying to store some of our drinks in it) - Towels!! (Why do none of the hotels offer MORE TOWELS??!) The room itself, the cleanliness was great however, you could definitely find a better value for your money elsewhere (most especially if you have kids and/or you're on a tight budget) This hotel is best suited for single people, couples, business travelers and families that don't have a tight budget ⭐ 9.5/10 Stars ⭐"

"The staff was super friendly and helpful at the front desk. Room was nice and spacious. Very clean. Cleaning staff was extremely polite and helpful as well. The valet guys are 10/10. Restaurant was ok, very snobby. Not really accommodating. But Max at the Bar was super awesome, accommodating, helpful and very courteous."
