Nice hotel, room needs repairs

Pros: Great hotel, great rate, very nice and very clean.
Cons: Bathroom needs to be looked at and repaired in room 105.
The hotel itself was very nice. The room we stayed in (room 105) was a handicap room. The bathroom is in need some repairs. With a handicap room there is no tub, its just a walk-in shower. Well where the tile in the bathroom meets the tile in the shower, the caulking has worn away so water gets in the crack, therefore causing a very strong moldy, nasty smell. We had to make sure we kept the bathroom door closed the entire time due to the smell. It was awful. The room itself was GREAT. very clean, very nice. The bathroom in our room just needs repairs.

Party People Next Door

Pros: Location - easy on and off of I-20.
Cons: Overall cleanliness needs to improve along with control of guest noise during sleep hours.
Location: Just passing through area and did not sight see.
My family stayed one night as we passed through the area on our way home from vacation. We arrived late and left early the next morning. The hotel was sold out when we arrived so we got the last room which happened to be a handicap accessible room. The shower had a zero entry floor, and we quickly learned that water filled the bathroom floor faster than could be drained. More time needed to be spent vacuuming as several random long black hairs were found. Also, there were only three pillows for our room booked for four people. Breakfast was your standard fruit, yogurt, cereals, eggs, breads, coffee and juice. There is a make your own waffle station. No meat option was offered. The biggest issue was the "party" happening in the room next door. Loud music went on for hours and included lots of foul language. The smell of cigarette smoke and more also filled the hall and our room. Maybe I should of gotten dressed and asked for a wristband since it was an all night party, but I am certain they were not my type of party people. Overall, it was not a restful end to our vacation.

We have security on duty in the evenings to assist with noisy guests. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning crew does an excellent job! Breakfast was a delight.

Convenient location for a good price!

Pros: The customer service was great.
Cons: Temperature inside the hotel itself
Location: Plenty of different restaurants and shopping centers in walking distance of hotel! about 25 min from main attractions.
Hotel was clean. The temperature of the hotel was muggy and warm. One elevator worked, The other we could use it coming up, just not going down.

Great hotel for the price.

Hotel staff were great people! Kudos to an employee named Rob, he helped us check-in and was very helpful. The hotel breakfast was good. Everything was an easy and quick process. Cons: the room smelled like B.O... it smelled like someone went in there with some onion armpits and took a nap with the heater on. I don't know if the smell went away or if we just got used to it, but after a while I couldn't smell it anymore. Overall though, it was still a good experience. I would recommend staying here. Staff make all the difference in your hotel experience.
