Close to six flags, ballparks

Posted Aug 4, 2017
Very nice hotel. Really close to major attractions - Six Flags, Rangers and Cowboys Stadium. There is a trolley that will take you to those places. Very convenient, close to everything. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice room layouts with full kitchens.

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Pros: Kitchen in room. Dishes in room. Pool area and landscaping is nice. Hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, waffles, bacon, sausage, etc.
Cons: Ensure the rooms have enough towels to accommodate the number of guests checking into the room. Desk should have access to linen after hours.
My wife, 9 yr old and myself stay here frequently when visiting for Six Flags. The rooms layouts are like small apartments. All the rooms have full kitchens with sink, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, stove top burners, full-sized coffee pot, dishes and silverware. The single queen suites have an open floor layout, while the king suites have a bedroom area with a door to close for privacy. We've stayed in both. The queen bed we got this time wasn't that comfortable. As expected, my 9 yr old also complained about the pull-out sofa bed being "springy" and uncomfortable. Our reservation had two adults and a child, yet the room was only set up for two people (ie. two bath towels). Check-in is at 3pm, the maid service clocks out at 4pm, this leaves little to no time to check your room to ensure there are enough towels and blankets. The front desk could not provide us with an extra blanket for the pull out bed and told us we had to wait until the maid service comes back in the morning.

Just ok

1st room when we checked in smelled like smoke so bad we had to switch to a different room. 2nd room they gave us, the toilet in the 1 bedroom didn't even work. Wood furniture is old and all banged up, tv in the one bedroom had a broken screen. Dresser on the inside was dirty, so couldn't use to put my clothes in. Roads & imsterstate around the hotel has a lot of construction.

Mildly disappointed+

The room was definitely in need of updating. As you walked across the bedroom floors you felt open spots beneath the carpets. Be sure to arrive back at the hotel before 10:00 p.m. or you may have to park in a parking lot located a distance away from your room. One night, we were half a block away.

Mediocre at best.

Posted Jun 12, 2017 on Hotels
There was lots of construction. Which is not the hotels fault but that is why I rated the local area not good. When I checked in the lady in front of me got her room for $50 a night cheaper than i did. She got 2 rooms for $75 a night each. Our floor had a slight funky smell. Breakfast was very busy there was only 1 waffle maker which took FOREVER to get through the line. We arrived 25 minutes before breakfast was over and certain items were empty and were not refilled. We added a 2nd night to our stay and they made me go to the office and check out and check back in despite staying in the same room.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Posted Jun 1, 2017 on Hotels
We returned from an event at AT&T Stadium to find that the A/C was not working. The front desk was called and could not resolve the problem. We were told that no other rooms were available. We were forced to spend a night in a room with no A/C, and temperatures in excess of 81 degrees. I have responded to the Marriott survey, and emailed the manager of the property directly requesting a refund. I have also emailed Marriott through their website. I have received no response. I will never stay at a Marriott property again based on this experience.
