Best for location, convenience & price

Posted Dec 27, 2017
Pros: Great location -easy to highway, airport, White Plains/Westchester in general & lower Connecticut.
Cons: Housekeeping is inconsistent- need a checklist or something to make sure everything is done, including removing cleaning supplies when done
Location: Very close to a small downtown area with shops. supermarket, restaurants etc. If you have a car - very central to multiple areas
This hotel has a great location, friendly staff, maintained grounds. The free breaksfast is on par for a more economical hotel - but at least they have hard boiled eggs and its not just a carb fest. I like that they allow dogs (even though I don't have one). The rooms are comfortable, the addition of the fridge and microwave makes it good for people like me who typically stay 5-7 days. The only thing that seems inconsistent in housekeeping. Last visit when I checked in my room hadn't been vacuumed (or done well) as there was white dog hair all over the floor. this time, there was a partially drunk water bottle, and dust rag left in the room. My room wasn't serviced for 3 days until I asked this time around.

Clean but old

Posted Dec 7, 2017
Just a well used room. Could use an update. There were stains on the chair and cracked tile in the bathroom. Had an overpowering smell of room deodorizer. But the bed was comfortable and the shower was good and strong.

Nice Hotel for 1975

Posted Nov 7, 2017
Travel back in time to a hotel with no elevator (great for unplanned exercise carrying luggage up and down stairs), no convenient electrical outlets for charging mobile devices, minimal TV options, and few (if any) nearby restaurants. Alas, if you need lodging in Armonk, this seems to be the only choice.

Rest assured the only reason guest were next door is because your room type was sold out. While the hotel was not , this room type was , which explains people being next door to you during your stay. Pros: Convention location. The price. Complimentary continental breakfast
Cons: DO NOT OUT GUESTS RIGHT NEXT TO AN OPPCUOIED ROOM 10;20 AT NIFHT WHEN THERE WRE SO MANY AVAILABLE ROOM.S. THWY WOKE US UP AND WE COULD NOT GO BACK TO
We did not sleep at all! The hotel was under occupied and they put people next to us at 10:20 at night who stayed up most of the night talking loudly and partying. It turned a pleassant experience into a nightmare! What would you put soemtone tright next to another guest when it was do dead and plenty of other rooms. They did credit us our one night stay.

Our apology for assigning rooms next door to you , unfortunately we were sold out of that room type during your stay. So our team had to assign the rooms next door to yours. Glad our team was able to offer you the complimentary night stay.

Review of hotel

It is close to the Westchester Airport which is very convenient. The room was clean. The bathroom was mostly clean but the inside of the toilet under the rim was not clean and a turn off. This may sound petty, but the TV services were poor. Sometimes when one is traveling, a little TV and news is relaxing. There was a BIG Yankee game on and we could not get it, IN NEW YORK! Not the worst thing But frustrating and annoying. The staff was kind and efficient, and there is 24 hour coffee in the lobby which is nice when one has to be up at 4:30-5:00 am.

Posted Oct 6, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: bugs-free
Location: very bad location... Nothing around. Doesn't look a safe place to me!
Bugs on the floor and beds are itchy. Never gonna come back here, not even for a single night!

Oh , no sounds like someone didn't wake up on the bright side. We sent our team to do a through inspection of your room. While we could not find some of the issues mentioned we made sure our pest control team came out and looked at it just to be on the safe side. Our location is one of the safest in the New York Area.

Acceptable and very convenient.

Posted Sep 26, 2017
Pros: Convenient location, breakfast was decent. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Always helpful
Cons: Color of the rooms and halls looks dingy & old, Odd that when you pull up you see the back of the hotel, very dark around the property at night.
Location: It's located in the middle of a business park very empty at night in the area. Close to Tarrytown, Kensico Dam, Armonk, & downtown White plains
Overall experience was good. Checkin was pretty easy, lobby was nice - free coffee (weak but hot) and filtered water all day. Rooms have a small fridge and microwave. Would be nice if the hotel had one of those little convenience marts that many do. Where you could get more than just snack food and pain relievers. My initial impression walking in to the room was good - it smelled fresh as though someone had just cleaned in there. The TV was on with this grassy view with wind blowing. All good until I sat at the desk - and there were 2 dead ants on the surface. Then I opened the curtains and in the bright light could see that there was dog hair - or some sort of white short hair all around the desk area. This didn't get cleaned up during my stay. Other issue is there is a single outlet on the desk for electronics, which is very limited - and it's on the front facing edge which makes it easy to hit as you move around. There is no outlet on the nightstand or lamp for charging phones (which most people use as alarm clocks these days). Bathroom - looked basically clean, toilet had black grit or something in the bottom, a flush and it was gone. Also found a small dead bug on the floor, didn't look to close but it had antenna. This is a pet friendly hotel which I love. However, it states that dogs are not to be left alone in the rooms - and it was obvious that they were for some periods of time because of the continuous barking late at night and in the mornings.
