Worst Comfort Inn I ever stayed in

First it took us an hour after arriving to get checked in. The girl simply did not know what she was doing. I asked if possible could I have a room as far away from any expected noisy areas like the pool area ect, because I having surgery the next morning and would probably have trouble sleeping anyway...she put us above the pool and beside the elevator......but luckily there wasn't too much going on so it was fairly quiet. When we got the room it was supposed to be suite but didn't even have chair. Just the 2 beds and tv. But that ok just disappointing. The tv input and cable box both had to be reset EVERY time we turned the tv on, even if we had just turned it off. The soda machine was empty the whole time we were there (2 nights) even though we let them know it was empty. The second day we went down for breakfast (I couldn't eat the first day) a little before 8 o'clock and everything was empty except a few biscuits and little bit of gravy (very little, couple scoups maybe) the girl came out and checked the buffet but never filled anything up. Several people came down after us so it wasn't like we were last to breakfast either. Then to top off the stay the elevator went out. That really wasn't a biggie. I usually prefer stairs other than the fact that I'd had surgery the day before. It really was a bunch of little things that just added up to 'Are you serious??'.......I usually really like staying at Comtfort Inn but I will never stay at this one again.

Stay was nice. Room was good along with rest of hotel. Pool area was a bit cool for swimming

Messy Hotel Room Otherwise Just OK

When I checked into my hotel room, there was a set of hotel keys on the vanity, the sink was filthy, there was a newspaper in the trash, the alarm clock was unplugged, and the pens for taking notes were uncapped. It was just a messy room that was very unprofessional for someone staying overnight for business. I will skip this hotel the next time around when I'm in the southern part of St. Louis.
