worst experience

Checked in and went to my room. Bed wasn't made and bar food everywhere. Next room had ripped bedsheets, stains on the carpet, funny smelling towels, stained sofa and chair. Disgusting overall.

Only decent hotel in town

Arrived and no heat in room. Front desk was good and moved me, but the place did not look well maintained.

Check-in was swift and easy. I requested a microwave in my room and got a fridge instead. When I went to the front-desk to ask for a microwave, the clerk said she was sorry and said that if I brought my food down, she would heat it up for me; that was very nice of her. When I got to my room, I couldn't believe how small it was. I'm glad it was just me, because it my wife came with me then it would've felt really cramped. There were 2 dead flies in the bathtub, which was pretty gross. More flies in the room. The Wi-Fi in the room was free, but really slow. Apparently, the Wi-Fi is going to be upgraded though. The restaurant in the hotel is really expensive, so be prepared for this if you choose to eat there; the service was slow too, but the food was good. I know a lot of businesses will find ways to save money, but PLEASE do not cheap out by using 1-ply toilet paper!! I've stayed in quite a few hotels in the past 2 years and they all used 2-ply. People will probably use MORE toilet paper if it's only 1-ply, thereby negating any cost-savings. If the owners wanted to save money, then perhaps don't change the bar of soap if it's only been used once; only replace at check-out. Overall, I can't see myself staying at this hotel again. I've stayed at other Days Inn hotels (and other Wyndham hotels too) and they were cheaper and way better...AND they had a free continental breakfast. REALLY not worth the cost!

Excellent staff always ready to assist with any issues. The restaurant served a really good breakfast and the waitress was VERY helpful.

Nice middle of the road inn.

Pros: Clean quiet room
Cons: A little dated
Location: Renfrew is a lovely friendly community and there are some wonderful little restaurants.
Nice clean room and staff were very nice. Restaurant had great breakfast at a decent price.
