Nice place, great staff

The cable tv box in our room was broken, and the hdmi ports on our tv didn't work either. We complained to hotel staff, who tried to fix the tv, and when they couldn't, they changed our room. Before giving us the keys, they made sure the cable was working. The staff was great, our new room was even better than the one we booked, and overall it was a good stay.

Toilet, seat loose, if I had a screw driver I could a easily fixed it, no instruction for the heat etc. Also worn decals for the dials. But really liked the upgraded key system.

Hi Bob. Thank you for your review. I will look into which room you occupied during your stay. Maintenance just recently replaced toilet seats. I will have him check to see if he missed tightening any. I apologize for the inconvenience. We are renovating bathrooms at the moment. Hotel is very tired. Porcelain worn off tub in areas, dingy, could see outside through space around heating/cooling unit. Wiring is old; no place to plug laptop or phone into, electric socket multiplyer in use but full. On a positive note, the room came with a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

I am sorry to see you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are currently renovating all 50 bathrooms. They all have new granite counter tops installed as well as new tile flooring. We currently have 10 rooms that have had the tiles in the tub replaced as well as the plumbing. As we finish those 10, we will start the next 10 until all rooms are completed. We do have limited plug ins with all the upgrades made to the rooms. As we replace the furniture, there will be extra outlets provided. I hope you are willing to stay with us again, as we continue to improve the property.

Motorcycle weekend

Very nice.We like the restaurant attached to the hotel. Layout was a bit awkward to get to the rooms. We had a lot of gear and required several trips and it was a bit awkward.Price with taxes was a bit high for this standard type room.

Cozy spot

Pros: Friendly quiet clean
Cons: new decor, new mattress
Location: nice walking trail along the Ottawa river, Short walk to downtown great giftshope and restaurants
I stayed 2 nights while visiting friend. Although there is a retaurant on site it was quiet. The grounds are well kept with a great walikng trail to start the morning. The hotel shows its not new but has been well kept and clean.

Arnprior Stay

lady at front desk could not be any nicer - we left some very important medication behind and she not only called to tell us - but arranged to have it shipped to us - very much appreciated!!

Old hotel needs updating. Musty feel to it covered with cleaner smell. Good location though and nice staff.

Very nice hotel

we stayed one night on our trip to Ottawa. The girl at the front desk was just amazing. Excellent customer service. The room was very clean. The hotel is close to a river at the back. some people come there for fishing. It is close to a Tim Hortons and KFC. We had a great stay so we left a good tip too.
