What a perfect stay at Amsterdam Manor we had. My family of five enjoyed the close proximity (literally steps away) from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world in Eagle Beach. The area was quiet, rooms were nice and updated, and staff were the most friendly. Will definitely stay here again whenever we visit this beautiful island again. Well done, Amsterdam Manor!

This is the 3rd time staying at this property. Very Clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Convenient walk to the beach and walking trail that runs all down the beach. A lot more restaurants in this low rise end than before. We really enjoyed that aspect. Also close to a grocery store. Warning...There is a strong sewage smell at times outside. We didn't notice it in the room, but if the wind is right it's a strong smell and you can smell it even on the beach. It's not the resorts issue, but an Aruba services issue. We just stayed on the beach. It can be an issue if you want to sit outside at the resort or use the pool area. It just depends on the wind. There are times we didn't smell it, but other times it was really bad. We would still stay at the resort. One more issue was around 3:30pm they want you to move out of their way to set up for sunset dinners at their beach restaurant. We graciously moved our lounge chairs closer to the water, but it is annoying that they basically force you to move.

The Amsterdam Manor is an exceptionally well run, clean, and in an absolutely beautiful location across from Eagle beach. The hotel personnel are fantastic and attend to any issue or request. The on site restaurants are great and the ease of access to stores and other important services is exceptional. Overall, the hotel is one of the best I've visited.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we enjoyed every second. The oceanfront view was beautiful and our stay was relaxing. Our studio room had plenty of space for the both of us. The only thing we didn’t like was how the shower had no door. It was a bit hard trying to keep the floor dry when we showered because the water was just sprinkling onto the floor.

Nice property with easy access to the beach across the street. "Passions on the Beach" was very nice especially at sunset, the food was excellent. The rooms were nice and cleaned each day. No entertainment on the property and the pool was nice but small with no thrills. There was a strong smell from the waste treatment center behind the resort for the whole week we were there.

It’s a great property from r someone looking for a quiet getaway. Right across the street from a beautiful sand beach - chairs, shade, and towels are all taken care of. Beautiful clean pool, well landscaped property. The staff are great! Jennifer at the front desk s an excellent concierge. Also the room was well equipped with all your needs - drying racks for wet suits, toiletries, coffee maker with abundant pods, fridge and plates. There’s a grocer store with liquor up the street so we stocked up with snacks and drinks. Two onsite bars and restaurants are great too. You can’t beat this location.

We are reaching out with disappointment and concern about a fraudulent charge of $731.60 (Room Inclusive Tax - placed on the account 2-23-24) applied to our reservation - Confirmation: 145708744 Expedia Itinerary: 72751249055215 We spoke with manager Juan Carlos on 2/24/24 at the check out desk prior to leaving on Saturday, 2/24/24 and he verbally promised us, with two other colleagues present as witnesses, that he would release the charge once we contacted Expedia. We received communication from Expedia today 2/25/24 indicating that Amsterdam Manor was contacted and refused to release the Room Inclusive Tax. The hotel was great overall. The grounds, the food, drinks, room, beach, staff were all amazing! BUT, just something to be aware of there is a WASTEWATER TREATMENT plant about 1,000ft away. We smelt raw sewage for 4 out of 5 days of our stay, which was a real bummer. It's all about the wind direction. We were downwind for most of our stay. The first 2 days the smell was pretty bad. When you open your door in the morning it was like hitting a wall of sewage smell. Such a bummer. Of course, there is nothing the hotel can do about it. I'm not sure I would stay there again because of that. You have this beautiful paradise hotel, and we smelled raw sewage for most of our stay, even on the beach... ugh.. Even at Dinner. We had this beautiful dinner on the beach and smelt sewage the whole time. My only complaints about the hotel itself, not a big deal, the pillows were terrible and no beach servers, need to go to the bar. again, no big deal. If you do stay here you need to make the dinner reservations weeks in advance. It books out.

We received a very warm welcome from the front desk staff as soon as we stepped out of our taxi. We were offered water and welcome drinks. We arrived prior the check in time so we could keep our luggage secure at the front desk and went to the Eagle beach which is just steps away from the beach resort. The location of the property is perfect. We were eligible for an Expedia VIP property upgrade, however, we were not able to take advantage of it due to lack of availability. Nonetheless, our renovated manor studio on the ground floor offered everything we needed for our stay. The room was very clean and well equipped. For a studio it was still spacious enough not to trip over one another - smart layout! We also had a table and chairs available in front of our studio. We visited Aruba to celebrate my birthday and the resort staff surprised me with balloons and sparkling wine on the day of my birthday! We dined at the Passions restaurant located across the street at the beach, such a special place to celebrate and the food was excellent! The resort also has a poolside Horizons bar with great food and drinks and happy hours every night! The front desk staff was so helpful with everything - from calling taxis or setting us up for a sail and snorkel tour (highly recommended). My husband and I cannot thank enough the team at Amsterdam Manor - Jennifer, Julio, Patrick and other team members and housekeeping - for making our vacation memorable. We hope to return to Amsteram Manor!

Love the location and Eagle beach is beautiful. Didn’t enjoy the smell of sewage you would get a lot of the time. Staff very friendly & Passions restaurant food excellent although was uncomfortable sitting at an angle in the sand. Didn’t like that we had to get up at crack of dawn to save seats under umbrellas. Would like to be able to reserve them in advance. Would love for you to bring back breakfast Buffet at Mangos. Housekeeping staff excellent. Will stay again.

The bad: There was construction directly behind the property and very loud jack hammers daily. There was a constant smell of sewer from the area. The good: The property is well maintained and clean. We found the management and employees all very helpful and pleasant.

We enjoyed our recent 4 night stay at Amsterdam Manor. We had a one bedroom suite and it was spotless. The pool area is nice and it is a quick walk across the street to the beach. Beware on days when cruise ships are in port, especially more than one, that the beach may fill up quickly. Amsterdam has chairs for their guests, but I would still get there somewhat early for a good spot each day. If the beach got too crowded we would move to the pool and enjoy the sun. The only true con, and this did not happen all the time, is there is an occasional jack hammer sound from construction going on behind the property we would hear every now and again. It did wake us up pretty early one morning. But our friends in another room on the other side of the property could not hear it, so it may have just been our room location. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was amazing. This will be the hotel I stay at every time I visit. It was so amazing here, we extended our trip a few extra days. Very walkable, quiet, beach is a few steps away, multiple restaurants nearby, and very kind people. This hotel is so beautiful and bright, highly recommended. The hotel staff also made the stay very pleasant. The concierges Julio and Jennifer did a great job and was VERY helpful, made our stay perfect!

We had no hot water in our kitchen which was known before we arrived. Customarily, we eat our breakfast and the prior evening dinner in our room. The maid does not do dishes and there was no dishwasher so we had to spend time doing dishes. Our vacation time was wasted 3 times about the water issue. They promised a $150.00 refund on my bill that I never received.and when one went outside the room, all one smelled was sewage. We have stayed here many times, but were not treated as valued guests. Also, the bartender, Elvis, used the F word frequently, which I didn't think was very respectful with two older women at the Horizan Bar upstairs.

We had a one room suite that was nicely decorated, the staff was friendly and catered to your every need. Food and bar were excellent too,we will definitely be back.

I loved the location. The ease of getting to the beach, the dining options and parking. The ambiance of the place is just incredible. I felt so happy to be in Aruba. The bright colors, the design, the room, the staff- it was the most relaxing, fun and enjoyable vacation I've had. The food at Passions on the Beach and Horizon Lounge were excellent. Can't beat having breakfast or lunch with the beach view. Sunset at both places made dinner more pleasurable. I highly recommend staying at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is located across the street from Eagle Beach. There are many fine dining restaurants within walking distance. The supermarket is within walking distance. I had a wonderful stay and plan to come back.

A very beautiful facility with cross street access to the famous eagle beach. Beach chairs and umbrella are free for the hotel guests. Very large comfy suit (2bd) and very friendly staff. Would come here again!

The only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars was a billing issue. Passions restaurant on the beach billed my credit card when I ate there and also billed my room, which I didn’t find out until checkout. Even when I showed proof of this at check out, they wouldn’t remove the room charge, but insisted I pay it again and they’d look into it and credit me if it was wrong. We were there in mid-October and I didn’t get the refund in my card until after Christmas. Which I wouldn’t have been so cranky about if I hadn’t shown proof of the error right at checkout. I have no idea why they had to complicate it more. Otherwise we had a fabulous time, the suite was great, clean, parking and beach location was great, none of the staff was ever rude and were quick to answer my many questions and kept us supplied with anything we asked for. Oh and kudos for the service app - they actual use it and respond very quickly to it and it was very easy to use. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Location is great. Hotel is clean. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Beach is pretty. Easy walkable hotel. I was charged extra for 2 people really for no reason at all. We booked and paid fir 2 bedroom suite that is listed for 6 people and only 4 of us stayed. Hotel charged me extra for 2 out of 4 of us. Doesn’t make any sense. We already paid for 2 bedroom suite. So weird. Also beach service needs improvement. The 6 am chairs is ridiculous. Most of them are empty with just towels on them till 10 am. But at 8 am u can’t find an empty chair.

However, our prices are based on single or double occupancy, and we charge an extra fee of 20 per person per night for each additional guest. We noticed that your reservation was originally booked and confirmed for one person. As a result, there has been an additional charge for the 3rd and 4th guests who will be sharing the space with you. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused, and for the service on the beach.
