Nice beach and locationPosted Oct 7, 2015
Pros: Location, food options
This was our first trip to Aruba, and we had high expectations. The Marriott is on a beautiful beach and offers many food options on property and just down the beach. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, this was a wonderful vacation.

Mediocre At Best, Honeymoon StayPosted Oct 6, 2015
My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon at the Marriott Stellaris in Aruba from 9/23-10/2/15. The pool & beach facilities were wonderful, however our room was mediocre as was the hotel in general. When staying at a high rise island resort, we expected more of the appearance and quality of our room and we were sadly disappointed (for example the puke green carpeting with stains that was peeling from its molding wasn't very appealing). A few days into our 10 day stay, we returned from dinner to a note slid under our door that we were required to change rooms and to basically have our things packed by noon the following day. We complained to the front desk and were ultimately not required to do so. Two days later there was another note slid under our door stating that someone would be coming into our room the next day between 9am-4pm to service our air conditioner. My husband and I both like to sleep in cold temperatures and were not too pleased to find out that night that our AC couldn't be turned below 70 degrees. A few days after the second note was left, we received a THIRD note that someone would once again be entering our room to perform "routine maintenance". All of these instances were an extreme inconvenience in our daily plans. No compensation was offered in return whatsoever, as if that is their normal way of business. Unfortunately, we have other complaints with not enough room to explain them all. Marriott not recommended, although we loved Aruba.

Muito bom hotel junto a praia.Posted Oct 3, 2015

Nice resort beautiful beachesPosted Oct 1, 2015
Location: Most restaurants were close. Just a short cab ride
Our only complaint was the palapas "rental" fee. We arrived about 2 pm Monday 9/7. I can understand they were not available so late in the day, but the next day some were available , and we were told we could only use them if we paid $30 dollars each day, because we didn't want to stand on line for an hour to book it for free the next day . When all was said and done we paid each day. But by noon time it was evident that all the palapas were not "reserved ". We asked for one for free and were told sorry we already charged your room. Felt it was a bit of a scam.

Very nice hotel. Very comparable to the RitzPosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: very large and clean room. food was very good. beach was very clean
Location: restauarants nearby to try are Madam Jannette, Giani's
Just did a 7 night stay at Marriot and was very happy with our vacation. The things i worried about before hand had no relevance once we got there. For example the palapa system. Its very simple, you can either reserve 1 a day for $30 and not have to wait on line or get in line everyday at either 4 pm or 7 am to reserve one for free. So worse case you wait in line for 30 minutes a day to get a free palapa. The buffet at La vista was good and hotel gives a discount card to dinner at La vista. Coupon is for 15,20,25, & 30% off your bill which is nice. If your a marriots reward member you also get free wifi and wifi was very good even down at the beach. I would def stay here again

Really nice hotel!!Posted Sep 30, 2015
Hotel and entire island is absolutely beautiful! food and drinks are expensive so bring extra cash! The only complaint I have is that if a hotel is going to advertise an ocean view, then make sure the entire view is ocean! Not looking down to the right of the balcony to see the ocean!! If that's the case, then state 'partial ocean view'!!!! other then that, well worth the trip and stay! Awesome place!!!

Nice hotelPosted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: The staff was very pleasant and very helpful.
Cons: The carpeting. The room I had on the 3rd floor smelled like smoke because the carpet was old. I was moved to a 6th floor room which had a newer carpet
Great hotel, right on the beach, beautiful pool, nice lobby with spacious seating areas and cafes. The staff was exceptionally nice - they were helpful with everything. My only issue is that the carpet in my first room was very old and smelled moldy/smoky. Once I complained to the hotel, they moved me to a higher floor with newer carpet. The room was very nice and had its own private balcony. I would return to this hotel for my next trip to Aruba.
