Excellent stay!

Posted Jun 10, 2017
Pros: Amenities (beach, pool, restaurant)
Cons: We had a couple issues with our room (patio door and dresser draws did not open properly). No one ever addressed the issues.
Location: Beach, casino, shopping
Divi Golf & Beach is an excellent resort, conveniently located on the island. Nice amenities. Close to beach with great beach accommodations.

One of the best vacations ever!

Posted Jun 4, 2017
Pros: Room was nice and clean. Pools were in excellent condition and there were ample lounge chairs to sit and lay in. Had restaurants on-site.
Cons: The bedding was a little uncomfortable. Too hard for me.
Location: The location was a little ways from the hustle and bustle. The 9 hole golf course was fun to play except for the windy conditions.
This was one of the best vacations my wife and I have ever took and we have vacationed in many places. The hotel was wonderful. Went in the off season so it was really quite.

Ok resort

Posted Jun 4, 2017
Big, well maintained resort. Studio rooms are large with full kitchens and balconies. Not as crowded as high rises. Plenty of parking. Convenient location to both downtown Oranjestad and Eagle beach/high rise hotels if you have a car. Onsite restaurants are very good. The Alhambra casino is walking distance away and there is a free shuttle that takes you between the Divi hotels and Alhambra. The pool area is big and infinity pool has a nice view. The fitness center faces the ocean. Did not play golf or tennis here but saw plenty of others doing it. The beach across the street is not the best. The wind is strong which creates rough and sandy waters at times. The sand is not as soft as Eagle beach. However, it is not crowded at all. The front desk staff are not pleasant to deal with and are usually very slow and have attitude problems. There were two power outages for the entire resort twice during our 7 day stay and each lasted a couple of hours (no AC, lights or refrigeration). They claimed to be turning on the emergency power but that was not the case and also the front desk claimed that the entire island was impacted, however driving around I could clearly tell that all other places of business had all their lights on.

Home Away From Home

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Very nice hotel; however, the distance away from the downtown area can run a first timer into a bit of an expense, unless you don't mind walking.

Dear Millers, our hotel is located in a quiet section of Aruba within 3 miles of both the downtown area and the high-rise area. We do run a shuttle service from our hotel to Alhambra shops and casino and in between our resorts. The public bus system is also very safe and inexpensive on Aruba. We do hope you enjoyed your vacation and you will return again to Aruba very soon.

Great location and a various amenities

Posted May 29, 2017
I enjoyed my recent stay with the exception of the 3am night parties near my room. The option to go to the other hotels was a plus.

Good location. Across from the beach.

Posted May 21, 2017
Pros: The beach was across the street. The pools were nice and the food and drinks were good.
Cons: There should only be one room key that is used for everything. We had several paper cards, for towels and room charges. These can get wet at the pool.
Location: The beach and breakfast and lunch places were nearby.
Good location and the hotel staff was friendly. The beach was kind of secluded and was not crowded. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. We paid for an oceanview but the ocean was not visible from our room.

The perfect stay

Posted May 19, 2017
First time in Aruba and Divi Village was the perfect home base. The beach was amazing and it was a quick cab ride to anywhere we wanted to go. We even walked to downtown one day and to Red Fish restaurant and back one night so it's possible to get around by foot if you want to take the time. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning!
