lessons can be learned from each other

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: the garden/pool/beach areas... liked that I could reserve huts.
Cons: concierge could be nicer and not as testy... casino staff don't be afraid to smile.
Location: loved it... great accommodations across the street and among other hotels.
everyone was very nice... I was surprised that some staff whom I would expect to be more accommodating and friendly by nature of their positions, seemed to lack a little at times... concierge staff seemed to be a little salty and impatient, perhaps too much multitasking... casino staff seemed too suspicious and never smiled... however, restaurant staff and cleaning staff were super nice.

Beautiful and Best Beach in Aruba!

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Pros: Convenience, beach and accommodations
Cons: For guests that stay for more than a week, it would be nice to get a little extra incentive i.e. free upgrade, breakfast, hut.
Location: Centrally located to all the shops and restaurants. Excellent beach and excellent amenities.
This was our second time staying at the Hyatt and we can't wait to go again. Absolutely beautiful and excellent accommodations. Can't wait to go back.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Location: Eat at Smokey Joe's. They have excellent ribs!!!,
Had an amazing time, my second trip to Aruba and both times I stayed at the Hyatt. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating with their guest. beachfront view is breathtaking. Location is perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants in the area.

Staff disappointing this year

Posted Jul 18, 2016
The past 4 out of 5 years we have stayed at the Hyatt- Aruba. Although we love the experience the staff this year was not as friendly and accommodating. The first day our room did not even get cleaned. The second day the room was cleaned at 4:00- very late if you have a 630 reservation for dinner. The concierge was more distracted by the people around her than waiting on the person she was with. They also failed to call back when they had secured a reservation.

I would recommend this hotel only if you want to go to Aruba with your kids. I would not recommend this hotel for a couple escape to Aruba. Definitely Ritz Carlton is the best hotel in Aruba for couples.

The Best

Posted Jul 15, 2016
This was the third time we stayed at the resort. The grounds are immaculate and the views are breath taking. The staff remembered us at reception and the spa from our vacation about a year ago. The locals say the Hyatt is the nest on the island and we agree!

Nice resort

Posted Jul 5, 2016
Room felt a little cramped, the balcony was small and in need of repair on the railing . But over all the resort was great, kids enjoyed the pool slide.

Great hotel with a great location!

Posted Jun 28, 2016
Pros: Location and the staff.
Cons: Not a whole lot.
Location: Location is great not only being so close to the beach and water activities but there are so many great places to eat and shop at.
Hotel looks and feels amazing! The location is perfect right next to the beach with plenty of places to hang out all day long (at a cost and for free). The 3 pools are great and my kid loved the slide into the pool, once again plenty of places to sit by the pool. Staff is great and the rooms are good we really didn't spend too much time in the rooms. With the location being ideal there are plenty of places to go eat outside the hotel. We plan on going back some day for sure.

Very Good but not Great

Posted May 27, 2016
Pros: Great Location Staff Restaurants Overall very good hotel
Cons: Replace shower tub with walk-in shower. Complimentary water in the rooms.
Location: Many restaurants.
The check-in process was efficient. When we got to our room (Two queen beds) a large picture was missing off the wall and the ceiling fan was pretty dirty, and the desk looked grimy. Neither my wife or myself were very impressed. I have never in my life called to complain about a room but felt compelled to do so in this case. We were shown another room which was an upgrade (better view) and it was what we expected from a Hyatt. We were given that room at no extra charge after talking with the manager on-duty and the front desk receptionist Grace. More impressed in the fact they called us about 30 minutes after we had settled in and made sure we were happy with the room and gave us a small credit towards our bill. The room had a modern décor even though it did have some wear and tear on it. Overall it was clean and the beds were comfortable. A good sized fridge which kept things cold. Very good A/C controls and had no issues getting/keeping room cool. It had a step-in tub/shower which may concern some older travelers. Water pressure was good. The balcony was small and pretty much useless. The furniture was a little oversized for the room and found the layout a little awkward. The pool isn't that big but never had any issues with finding a good spot, and water was clean. We only ate dinner once at the Hyatt at the Ruinas Del Mar restaurant but think it was the best meal we had while in Aruba. Rented a car from the concierge's desk which was also very efficient. 4 out of 5 stars
