Wonderful stay at the Manchebo!!!Posted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: The beach was great and the hotel had the largest beach area of any of the other hotels.
Cons: I would offer hair conditioner as there was none given. They had shampoo, soap, body wash and body lotion only.
Location: The location was great not too far from the airport and the downtown area. Also pretty close to the high rise area.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. The beach is just beautiful with white sand and turquoise blue water. There is plenty of room at the beach as the palapas are spaced pretty far apart so you are not right on top of your neighbors as most of the other hotels were. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful answering any questions that we had. The rooms were very comfortable and the ac worked great and much needed as it was very hot. There was a breeze all week which was good also. If we go to Aruba in the future we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Location: We did all inclusive and decided not to leave the resort. However, we plan on going on the submarine if we ever return.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. It was our first time in Aruba and we had the best experience ever. The hotel staff was beyond friendly, the food was absolutely amazing (we did all inclusive and just ate way to much because it was soooo good), and the rooms were great (I fell in love with the waterfall shower). I hope we get the chance to come back to Aruba and I know if we do ever return we will be going to this resort. Also the beach was my favorite part. It was clean, beautiful, and there was plenty of beach chairs for everyone.

The perfect accommodation!Posted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: From staff to rooms to the beach environment - it was all incredible and I can't wait to go back!
Cons: Keep doing what you're doing, Manchebo! You are truly wonderful!
Location: Beach was incredible! Cab ride to downtown & to the highrise side of the island where other activities are, but we did not intend to venture out often
Manchebo exceeded my expectations tenfold! The staff was the best of anywhere I've ever stayed. Because it is small and intimate, the staff was more than attentive, remembering us and our preferences - doing everything they could (and more) to make sure we had a wonderful stay. It was my mom's birthday on one of the days of our trip and they sent us champagne to our room with a lovely personalized note - AND gave us a birthday surprise at dinner. So, so special. The resort itself was IMMACULATE - spotless, always tidy, clean - everything in place. Right on the beach - the view was perfection - could not ask for more. We did the all inclusive and while there is a limited selection, the menus at all the restaurants on property had a great selection and variation that would fit any palette. We are healthy eaters and were thrilled with the options available. All the food was fresh and prepared perfectly - from ingredients to presentation. There is a good variation between casual dining and more "formal" (I say loosely because it is a beach resort, but the formal option was indoor vs. casual outdoor and had a piano player, lovely ambiance) with a beach bar. Hours for dining were great as well - we could eat early or late, without fearing we would miss the dining hours which I've experienced elsewhere. We were never rushed through our meal, always allowed a leisurely experience. Very enjoyable overall. Even when we checked out, they gave us a goodie bag of snacks for the plane!

Average hotel to far from the beach Avg. landscapePosted Sep 9, 2015
View of ocean was not that great for what we paid for. Front desk staff was great but the bar staff was unfriendly. Need updated beach chairs with pads. Landscaping of the grounds could be better along the ground floor rooms.

Best located resort on the islandPosted Sep 6, 2015
Pros: Very central location on the island. Only 15 minutes to most activities.
Resort is located on the best ocean beach on the island. Excellent restaurants at the resort, casino right across the street. This resort is a low-key, hidden gem ... paradise footsteps away. Best island stay I've ever had!

Great place to relaxPosted Aug 5, 2015
My wife and I went for the first time to Aruba and loved it.. Great thing about Manchebo is how close and secluded the beach is.. Everything was clean, staff was nice and the Spa is great. The high rise area is a 9$ Taxi ride which can go up to 12$ pending the day and time. All in all great time.

Small resort with little competition for attentionPosted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: The loved the service, the employees, the beach service, the beach, and the drinks were strong.
Cons: The breakfast was awful and needs some help. Changing the dinner menu mid-week would be nice as well, but I know this can be logistically difficult.
We stayed in a first floor "Ocean View" room. At first we were quite disappointed with the actual view from the room, but we quickly learned to love it due to the location and convenience to all the services we needed (restaurants, bar, parking lot, lobby, onsite store). We stayed for 6 days/nights and by the end of the trip although we truly enjoyed our dinners, we did found ourselves starting to get bored with the dinner options. We also wanted more authentic Caribbean cuisine and simply didn't find what we were looking for here. We loved the beach service and lunch food. As much as we loved our stay, and considering the fact that we will be back, I do want to mention that the quality of the breakfast food wasn't great. The a la cart option was dull and we were turned off on the buffet by the number of birds that were running around, landing on everything and pecking at the serving utensils. We found ourselves going across the street after this. Overall we loved our stay, the service, the people. NOTE: We stayed on the resort sunning and relaxing the majority of the time. We took advantage of the onsite car rental and rented a Jeep to go on an adventure around the island which was a blast, but a 1 day adventure was more than enough.

Lovely, relaxing hotel.Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Size, peacefulness, beach
Cons: The shower is level with the bathroom floor, so you need to be very careful, as the floor can get wet.
If you are looking for a quieter hotel with an uncrowded gorgeous beach, this is the place. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there are several restaurants and a market, and casino within walking distance, easily. I would not recommend for families with kids. The pool is small, and we did not see many children there.

Gret Hotel next to the beachPosted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: The staff were very friendly and always recognize you as a guest.
Cons: I had a overall great time. One morning the kitchen lost my breafast order and after 30 minutes of waiting we left and went across the street to eat.
Views were great and hotel was relaxing with thier attention to detail. All attractions are close by and easy to plan for the day. Food was great and entertainment was a great touch. The cliental was mature and added to the tranqulity of the hotel. Will recommend and return.
