Great location right on the beach!Posted Aug 25, 2015
We arrived on a Monday for our honeymoon a little earlier than our check in time but the room was ready right when they said it would be. We stayed in a studio style unit that had a large refrigerator, stove top, dining table and sink. All amenities came in handy in addition to laundry on same floor. Housekeeping kept our room clean as well as all of the restrooms and public spaces on the property. We never had to wait in the AM to get a chickee on the beach! Was a pleasant surprise. Restaurant Azzurro on the property was excellent! Convenience stores on the property were overpriced but expected. Lots of kids staying at the resort so if that is not your cup of tea, would not recommend. The location both on the beach and in relation to the stores and restaurants on Palm Beach was perfect! Overall experience was excellent and I would definitely come back!

Outstanding Resort and StaffPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Close to everything and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing, really.
Location: Casino right next door and restaurants close by.
What a great place to stay and relax. The staff could not have been more friendly and our room was always clean and fresh towels everyday. Resort was close to everything. Really don't need to rent a car but we did just because we went out a few days sight seeing and grocery shopping. If there was one bad thing I had to say about my experience it would be the thatched roof umbrellas on the beach and at the pool. It just seems to me that people save these things at 6am in the morning and a lot of times you see them empty for long periods of time. Probably nothing you can do to fix it but I did want to mention it. This would not be a deal breaker for me returning though.

Great location!Posted Aug 14, 2015
Awesome location. Lots of places to walk to. Pelican Pier is a great dinner spot, right on the water and very reasonably priced. Right across the street is Smoky Joe's, which has great bbbq. Beach is very nice. Make sure you get up by 7:30 to grab a hut and, make sure you like New Yorkers - the hotel is full of 'em! Friendly crowd. Have stayed at a couple other places on the island, and we plan to stay at this hotel again during our next visit.

It's Aruba!Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: Would be nice to have more water available to guests.
Location: Restaurants, shops, casinos a very short walk away. Great location
The hotel was pretty nice; was great for a last minute booking. The crowd tends to be much older, people who come with kids, grandkids. Can be very crowded on the beach. The hotel charges for WIFI when you can get it for free right outside at local restaurants etc. Get all inclusive as food, drinks and eating can get expensive. You go there for the beach and the sun and the fun, not the room. The rooms were very clean!

Beautiful and in the center of it allPosted Jul 14, 2015
Cons: Tell the boat in front of the beach to go away.
Playa Linda is a beautiful hotel. It is also perfectly located. You wont have to walk far to go to some of the best eateries around the area. I would check out Smokey joes and acua grill for sea food. ( expensive but worth it). Playa linda is a beach front hotel. I only wish there weren't all those boats in front of the beach. If I ever return to Aruba I would definitely stay at Playa Linda again. No need to look elsewhere.

Nice place to go once. MaybePosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: I liked the fact that absolutely nothing was included with the price of the room. You had to buy coffee for the room and wifi was $16.00 a week.
Cons: Humidity control in the rooms. A few perks to go along with the $300 per day rooms, like coffee and cleaning service every day. Bug service too.
Location: Tours and tourist attractions. The beach and a beautiful view.
The large pool was under construction. There was no humidity control in the room and everything was wet all of the time. The only time you felt clean was IN the shower. You had to get up at 5:30 in the morning to reserve a "Chickee" which is a pole shoved in the ground with a thatched roof resembling a big umbrella in a decent location with a view.

Excellent hotel and amenities on beachPosted May 16, 2015
Excellent hotel with all amenities, on beach, multiple eateries right on premises with varying price ranges. Staff very hospitable and provide excellent service. Only downside was had to get up very early to claim a "chickee"

Great location!Posted May 11, 2015
The location is great! The hotel is right on the beach and has many restaurants and activities in walking distance. Although this is not Playa Linda's fault, our flight had an emergency landing and than our flight was cancelled, so we did not make it to Aruba for the first night's stay. Playa Linda did not reimburse the first night in anyway. They made it sound as though they were doing us a favor to still be able to check in a day later. Besides all the extra fees and no reimbursement the location and amenities were nice.
