We love spending a few days there when we come to Aruba. We love the private beach and the pool at the hotel. We enjoy the restaurants on premises and the casino.

The best!!!

Posted Nov 10, 2016
The private island is the best! The all inclusive meant we didn't pay for a single meal or drink unless we were tipping the staff. They had great entertainment. They had a movie theater where they invited guest to watch the fight for free, and the hotel provided an all you can eat seafood night. The private island was just a boat ride away ! We snorkeled everyday!

Pros: the location was great, having a private island, food was amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable, having the market place so close of the hotel and being able to give just a few steps and be there to enjoy the food, every night was someone on the "stage" performing right in front of the restaurants
Cons: showers design was so modern, everytime you shower water will run out of it and create a big poddle
Location: being very close to places, that you can take a walk and enjoy the very nice weather while getting to know more of the island and locals

The flamingoes were awesome!!

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Pros: The location and the private beaches. And again, the flamingoes were a real surprise---what a delightful treat!! I just regret that I wasn't able to get one of their feathers!
Cons: The balcony could have been larger so we could sit on it; the one chair in the bedroom wasn't very comfortable; and our view wasn't the greatest.
Location: The location was great---lots of shopping nearby and the Bon Bini Festival was within walking distance.

Dear Carolyn, Appreciate your kind words regarding our exclusive private island, Resort's convenient location with walking distance shopping options. Also, would suggest to opt for accommodation at our Ocean Suites on your next visit as all our one bedroom suites have a decent size balcony to relax. Old Rooms

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Location: Lots of things to do nearby. The hotel is in the heart of their downtown so it is accessible to a lot of things.
The hotel is well maintained in the common areas. However, the rooms are old and need upgrading (even though they supposedly recently upgraded). The room configuration is tight. The air conditioning unit is so very loud that my sleep was disrupted every time it turned on. One day we decided to sleep in and had the DND sign on the door. Their security/maintenance knocked anyway and said they needed to take a look at something in the bathroom. It turns out they replaced a shower door. This was not an emergency that they needed to disrupt our rest for. Unacceptable!! The staff is very nice and the food was good.

Pros: Nice staff, food, private beach, excellent location
Cons: Shower leakage, bathroom design, no light options
Location: Excellent
Great stay with the following exception: Room redesign was not user friendly. Toilet to close to shower and poor placement of light switches with no option of dim light only bright high beam throughout. Furthermore, shower drain constantly leaked on tile. Floor always wet

Not on the beach

Posted Oct 12, 2016
The hotel is nice but it's not on the beach. We stayed in the adults only tower and you had to take a boat to a private island that had an ok beach. The pool area is very small. The family tower has a man made beach area but if you want to see the beautiful beaches of Aruba don't stay here. Go to Palm Beach area. We had to ask for drink refills in the restaurants every time. We made massage reservations at the spa and went back the next day for our massages and they had lost our reservation. There is no night life here. The stores close at 6 or 7. Aruba was great, we would go back but we would not stay here, just not the best location.

Location: We enjoyed not doing too. Ugh actually...but the roaming and shopping near by provided us with what we needed and wanted on our rainy day/meander time
We had a great time..rooms were always cleaned and to our specifications for towels etc.. The golf cart staff were great! We really enjoyed the 12 day stay and would come back again as our next beaxh vacation destination
