Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted Mar 20, 2017
this hotel has its own island. The boat will take the hotel guests to the island where you can rent your own cabana and enjoy the day. It's a beauuuuuutiful place to go to. Best vacation so far.

We have stayed many times. Enjoy the private island and the convenience of being able to walk to restaurants and shopping.

Comfortable hotel close to attractions and shops

Posted Mar 18, 2017
Rooms showed a little wear and tear but were clean and comfortable. We weren't thrilled with our original room and requested a change. Valerie and the other front desk staff went out of their way to find us a room that met our expectations. Restaurant, bar and serving staff were excellent. Richard greeted us daily with a smile and uplifting demeanour that started or ended our day on a positive note. The private beach was the highlight of our stay. Great beach with shallow, sandy bottom to swim, play or socialize. Secluded space where I found a comfy chaise lounge to relax and watch the planes take off and land. at the airport across the channel. Food at the island restaurant was excellent. My wife and daughter said the Margherita Pizza was the best they'd ever tasted. were attentive, friendly helpful

Perfect Honeymoon

Posted Mar 9, 2017
This hotel was everything we could've wanted and more. From the day we checked in and walked into the marina lobby and saw a boat we were impressed. (Boat takes you to the private island) The lobby is awesome during the day and even better at night when they light everything up and play music videos on a big screen or have live music. All of the restaurants are delicious. I have been to a few other all-inclusive before and the food was always mediocre but it was not like that at this hotel! All of the restaurants are delicious. I have been to a few other all-inclusive before and the food was always mediocre but it was not like that at all! The casino is the best in Aruba (we visited 5 other hotels casinos) The servers are waiting eagerly to take your drink order and when they do, they bring it back to you in less than 30 seconds. The private island that the boat takes you to is the only private beach in Aruba. Even Palm Beach where all of the high-rise hotels are located is a public beach. There is a restaurant on the island located on the family side but we stayed on the adult exclusive side which has flamingos that you can feed which was the coolest experience ever! We highly recommend this hotel and will be returning again someday !

GOOD LOCATION NEEDS RENOVATION

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Pros: FOOD WAS OK. BEACH WAS NICE. POOL WAS OK
Cons: THE WHOLE PLACE NEEDS TO BE RENOVATED. IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS BUILT IN THE 70S AND HAS NEVER BEEN TOUCHED SINCE
Location: THE LOCATION IS GOOD. THE THINGS TO DO ORIGINATE IN THE HOTEL WITH TOORS ETC.
DISSAPOINTED IN THE CONDITION OF THE FACILITY. THE STAFF WAS ADQUADTE AT BEST. NOTHING SPECIAL. I EXPECTED MORE FOR THE MONEY.

Renaissance Review

Posted Mar 2, 2017
The hotel looks tired. Hallway & room Carpeting needs cleaned/replaced. A fresh coat of paint in the higher areas is needed. View from glass elevators and walkways show dirty walls and ceilings. This is a 3 stars. We spent most of our time at The Renaissance Suites pools and beach. It was quite comfortable and we found the bar staff to be friendly and attentive.

Nice Hotel.

Pros: The private island is great.
Cons: Need to have a refrigerator in the rooms.
Location: You can walk to about anything. If not you can get a taxi to go any place on the island.

Fabulous hotel for a family vacation

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Location: Just outside the hotel there is a plaza, lots of restaurants. The dutch pancakes are a must for breakfast and Sidebar and Café Tua a must for dinner
We stayed at the Ocean Suites side as we had our son with us and the Marina side is adults only. After seeing both sides I think the Ocean Suites is a lot nicer. This hotel was above our expectations. My husband, son and I spent a beautiful week here in February. While the pool areas were beautiful, the private island beaches were our favorite. Easy to get to with shuttle boats running on a regular basis, the ease of getting chairs, the activities for our son, the drink and food service on the beach, was exceptional. Santusha and Illiana at the main pool area were always there when needed and anticipated all of our requests. We will be back!
