Spacious rooms for Tokyo, right behind hoppy st!

Posted Jul 2, 2017
Great hotel in the heart of asakusa. Rooms had a washing machine and kitchenette, so it felt spacious. Hotel backs onto hoppy st - if you're into izakaya bars it's perfect! (No noise heard from the bars despite the proximity!)

great location

Posted Jun 30, 2017
The room was small but that's expected in Japan. The room had everything one can need - from kitchen to laundry. I absolutely loved the location. It was walking distance to the sensoji temple and to all the amazing local restaurants, The staff was friendly and helpful. You can also rent bikes from the hotel for free,

Small hotel with fully-equipped rooms

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: Comfort and fully-equipped rooms
Cons: The hotel should provide a map for customers coming to the hotel.
Location: The hotel sits next to a shopping area and close to Asakusa Temple. Skytree is within walking distance.
The hotel was difficult to find, given the address provided by Booking.com. Local people we asked were not able to help. We ended up asked a nearby hotel staff to help locating B:Conte. It is a small hotel and doesn't have full facilities. But the rooms are fully-equipped, comes with a small kitchen and a washer/dryer machine. There is even a small table packed inside the closet, which we use for eating late supper. The reception lady we spoke to number of times speaks good English and was able to answer our questions.

Great Location with in-room laundry

Posted Jun 2, 2013 on Hotels
This was our last stop on a 13 day trip through Japan. The hotel is conveniently located to many markets and the Sensoji Temple. The room was comfortable, clean, and included an in-room laundry and kitchenette. The laundry was very welcomed feature. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it highly.

Will return :)

Loved the room, queen/king sized bed, comfy for Japanese standards - very firm but not a concrete slab. No bath :( but large(comparatively) bathroom with good ventilation. Dryer function on washing machine takes a while, but its in room so can pop it on while you're out. Large bright/light room, couch and desk with enough space. Bit hard to find but its right beside the French wine bar.

Best place to stay in Asakusa!

Posted Jul 18, 2012
Pros: Room size, well thought out features and amenities
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Location: Right in the centre of the old town of Asakusa with lots of shops, restaurants and the Sensoji Temple at the doorstep.
This was the third place we stayed in Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) it was outstanding. The room is a good size and very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, sink, kettle, rice maker, full size fridge, microwave, dishes, etc), ipod deck, cable tv, wi-fi (upon request but no extra charge), lots of storage space for clothes and bathroom items, robes, slippers, and a big shower. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel also offers free bicycle usage. The hotel is located directly in the middle of the old town of Asakusa with the Sensoji temple around the corner. The Asakusa train station is within walking distance (5 min). All in all a superb place to stay!

Great hotel for tourists

Posted Jul 1, 2012
Pros: Location, design, staff
Cons: Front desk only open from 7 AM - 9 PM
Location: Next to the oldest temple in Tokyo, good tourist spot
This hotel was a great find. Located adjacent to the oldest temple in Tokyo, it has a festive atmosphere. Great area to walk around. About a 5 minute walk from the Asakusa Tobu train station and Ginza line. It is also near the new line to the brand new Sky Tree, the new tall observation tower in Tokyo. One side of the hotel has windows facing the Sky Tree and the temple which provides a nice view. Very upscale modern hotel. The room are small, typical for Japan, but extremely well designed. Even has a washing machine and kitchenette.

Excellent Visitors' Hotel at a Reasonable Price

Posted May 25, 2012
Pros: Excellent location for exploring Tokyo.
Cons: None
Location: Next to Senso-ji temple complex, plenty of restaurants and shops.
Excellent apartment hotel - rooms have a small, well-equipped kitchen, including washing machine. Perhaps rather clinical for some? Staff in reception speak reasonable english and their sushi bar recommendation was excellent. Next to Senso-Ji temple complex and lots of restaurants, bars and shops in the area. 10 mins walk to Asakusa subway stations (both Tokyo Metro and Toei lines) where you're about 15 mins from Ueno and less than 30 mins from Tokyo central station.
