"Best place to stay in Asakusa!"
This was the third place we stayed in Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) it was outstanding. The room is a good size and very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, sink, kettle, rice maker, full size fridge, microwave, dishes, etc), ipod deck, cable tv, wi-fi (upon request but no extra charge), lots of storage space for clothes and bathroom items, robes, slippers, and a big shower. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel also offers free bicycle usage. The hotel is located directly in the middle of the old town of Asakusa with the Sensoji temple around the corner. The Asakusa train station is within walking distance (5 min). All in all a superb place to stay!

"Bit of a Squeeze for a Family..."
Yes, Tokyo hotels can be small, and in comparison this one is quite large compared with some, and is very tastefully decorated with an amazing shower and bath, and very comfortable beds. The hotel breakfast (whilst very expensive) is very nice, with the freshly squeezed juice (just keep helping yourself), honey from the comb) etc very nice. Plus the three options (eggs benedict here), very tasty. Whilst there is a lot to do in the area, given the hotel is not on a JR line, it isn't as easy as some other areas of Tokyo, but using Hyperdia you can quickly and easily navigate the Tokyo Metro (note the local Metro stop (Asakusa Station on Ginza & Asakusa lines - aren't baggage friendly). But really, the hotel isn't child friendly. We stayed with a 5 & 7 year old in an Style E Essential Twin room. While the beds are bigger and you could sleep with the kids in the bed with you, it's not something I'd want to repeat. We couldn't push the beds together in ours to make more room. And there isn't much room for everyone's luggage (especially when you're off to the snow next)! Finally, despite booking for 2 adults and two kids, and paying for breakfast, breakfast only game with vouchers for the adults and they wanted us to pay extra for the kids. Final note, whilst the hotel staff did speak acceptable English, it wasn't as proficient as other places, which made some of the above issues a little harder. Families best look elsewhere IMHO.

"Fabulous staff"
Hotel staff were so good and helpful. They gave us a local map hilighting all of the eating areas and sites and helped no end with airport travel There is a free massage chair and a great kitchen with free coffee and tea as well as vending machines and huge fridges There is also a great bar that has a jazz band on Thursdays!

"nice hotel and staff"
Not too far, if you go from narita airport, east to find the location of hotel. And the staff was really nice, polite. hotel close to skytree, if the room at river side, you can enjoy the view of sky tree, it should be very relax.

"Great location"
I liked this hotel. It was clean and in a great location. Right next to tawaramachi station which gets you on the Ginza line, and this takes you to a lot of great areas in Tokyo. The one thing I didn't like was I felt as though they nickle and dimed you. You had to pay for all your toiletries. At least some hand soap for the bathroom would have been nice. Also, cable isn't free, you have to pay to use the tv. I like to keep the tv on for background noise, but I was not about to pay for that. The beds were hard as a rock. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. I would probably stay here again, especially for the price

"In transit layover"
Forced by JAL to have an overnight stay but as they were code sharing they did not provide accommodation. Plus the connecting flight was from Haneda. Search for hotels were all very expensive. The photos of the rooms of this hostel was what caught my eye. Cool, Fab and Groovy. Then I saw the price. Couldn't believe it Of course it's a hostel. For us, a family of four and in transit it was perfect. For young folks even more perfect. We had a toilet in our room. Big thumbs up. Shared shower was clean and close by. It was centrally located between Narita and Haneda. However, the guy at reception really made it. He paid attention to our questions and made sure we were understanding of everything as well as being helpful. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would stay again. Probably will.

Pocket Guide: Asakusa, Tokyo Shopping Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
