Close to NC Zoo

Pros: Loved coffe, and courteous staff
Location: NC Zoo, if you love Antique shopping there is several places to visit here.
Hotel was clean, staff very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good, loved their coffee. Had one problem with cleaning staff throwing away toothbrushes that were special from Dentist. But the manager at hearing of this gave us a refund for one nights stay, which they did not have to do or that we did not ask for. I would stay at this hotel again our experience was very good.

Nice facility -- horrible night

Pros: It was very nice, as are all the Hamptons we have stayed at.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: It was a convenient location, since we were visiting the Zoo.
We had a horrible night, not due to the facility or the staff. The people in the next room BLASTED their TV all night. Pete went down to the front desk at 3:00 a.m. to ask them to please do something about it. The young woman came upstairs, called the room (No answer), beat on the door (No answer), left. Pete went down to the front desk again at 3:30 a.m., the young woman again called the room (No answer), came upstairs and beat on the door (no answer). I called the front desk around 4:00 a.m. and asked them to PLEASE do something. She came upstairs again and the TV suddenly turned off. At this point, we were all awake, even our children. Needless to say, our trip to the Zoo the next day was hampered by our grouchiness at getting maybe 4-5 hours of sleep. My next call would have been to the police, since the staff could not resolve the problem, not for lack of trying. Very disappointing, since we are loyal Hampton Inn customers.

Not up to Hampton Inn standards.

Room had an unpleasant oder. Carpet not clean, air conditioner filter needed to be cleaned.

Excellent Hotel

Booked a room for me, my husband and two boys. The staff were very friendly and gave recommendations to restaurants nearby. The breakfast was pretty decent. The only complaint was I wish the indoor pool was warmer, it was freezing. I will be staying here again as we became members of the zoo this trip and will be visiting quite often.

Great location. Just minutes away from NC zoo.

It's a great hotel for adults and children. They have a indoor pool and hot tub, open around. A fitness room and free warm breakfast. My kids really enjoyed the spacious room.

Great room!!

We didn't have any real issues. We only stayed one night. The room was clean, hood breakfast. Our only complaint was about the pool. We stayed in Feb and opted to stay there because of the indoor pool, however the pool was FREEZING! Evidently it's supposed to be heated, but not when we were there. They do have a hot tub, so we did get I. The hot tub.

Awful shuttle service

The overall stay was fine. However, I chose the hotel for its proximity to the airport and its park and ride service. I was one minute late for the shuttle in the am and it left without me. Really? I paid for an Uber.

So sorry to hear of your experience with another Hampton Inn. Hampton Inn Asheboro does not have an airport shuttle service, but we are 10 minutes from the world's largest zoo.

I love the free breakfast most places have waffles to make yourself and so did they but they also have hot bar and they rotate the items everyday
