We were welcomed by the nicest lady..started everything off in the right tone Had dinner outside at the provided area Beds etc were good and comfy..rooms clean…we had pets and it easy in and out of room to take for walks on their plush well kept grass Will stay again if we are that way

The room was decent however I did not care for the aluminum-like base of the bed because it sounded like the hollow sound like “banging on a empty dumpster” when you moved on the bed; also the tub Was a bit dated and had a few scuff marks. The fixture in the room that was supposed to be used for charging items did not work and although the phone It was quite beat up

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selections of breakfast foods. The only negative of the stay wasn’t necessarily the hotel’s of staff’s fault, but there was a loud guest until the wee hours of the morning-sounded like they were moving furniture and loud conversations and carrying on…otherwise, great place to stay, super helpful and friendly staff, and clean and descent accommodations.

The bed I slept in was horrible! My back was out for four days after. It was like a board was under mattress but also board felt like it was broken .

Unexpected disappointment
I arrived and checked in greeted by the lovey woman who checked me in on my previous stay. She is great!!!went to me room and then began to unpack as I had to attend an online class beginning at 7:00pm. I did notice that the desk lamp was missing and finally located it in the bathroom. Checked the bathtub - again ; black mold. I got unpacked and went to set up my computer and began to brush my teeth. When I turned on th bathroom vanit it began to strobe wildly. I tried it several times and ultimately as I do struggle with epilepsy - walked back down to the desk about having someone please look at it. Her response was “is that STILL broken?!” She explained that was why the desk lamp had been moved to the sink area. That would not work for me. She then offered to move my room but all she had was second floor. I have crippling arthritis and this was less than ideal. This is why I had booked a first floor room. Was told it was my only option. Tick tick tick - getting closer to my class time. I reluctantly accepted and then because there was no one to help me with luggage I repacked, and took 3 trips up and down the stairs to the second floor. As I passed the room 213 beside me gentleman was standing outside caping marijuana. The smell was also pouring out of his room. By the time I got fully deposited in my room it was 6:57 pm. Ugh. Then afterwards went to take a long hot bath and the bathtub stopper would not hold water. This for a two night stay.

Meghna is great
Meghna (Maggie) , the General Manager was super quick at breakfast. Constantly refilling anything before it could run out. Let people know there is more coffee on its way before they could ask. Very friendly. Even offered to make a waffle for someone

Anything in the best Western plus line I expect to be a higher quality than what I saw in Asheboro North Carolina. Anything in the best Western plus line I expect to be a higher quality than what I saw in Asheboro North Carolina. The rooms were clean enough but not what I expected from best Western plus. Powdered eggs is not what I consider breakfast items at best western hotels.

I am sorry you were unhappy with your stay with us. We are not a Best Western Plus hotel. Best Western is our parent. We are the SureStay Brand that they developed which is a lower tier of Best Western. We used to be a Quality Inn, which would be our most notable competitor. The eggs are real.

Clean, dog friendly stay!
Very nice and clean hotel. Loved how dog friendly they were. Even got a little treat bag for our girl when I checked in. Janet at the front desk was extremely friendly. Loved that our room had tile instead of carpet. Only complaint is the bed is very noisey, it creeks with every move you make. Other than that our stay was perfect. Also had a nice gazebo out back for a grilling. Also loved they had a recycling bin. Would stay here again!

Had we known about the A/C problem sooner than 8 hours after you checked in, we certainly could have moved you to another room. Unless we know about an issue, we cannot fix it. The room you were in has been used all summer long with no complaints about the A/C.

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, building itself is in good condition, rooms were spacious enough, comfortable beds (although the metal bed frame under was loud when getting on and off the bed) having a mini fridge was very useful, pool was clean, great location, 10 minutes from the Zoo and downtown, quiet area. We would definitely stay again. One small complaint was cleanliness of the room could have been a little better, stray hairs in the sink and shower, floor needing more attention. Overall I give 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for a great stay!

The pool was great. We stayed out there for over 2 hours teaching my son how to swim on his own. There were two other families that came out and everyone was very friendly. The staff was great. My kids enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was very clean. The only thing was the beds were squeaky and not super comfy, but the pillows were soft just the way I like them.

Pass on by if the price is over $100...
We often stay at a discount hotel when on the road because we have a dog. Most, are just fine and we don't expect frills. Just a clean room and a working tv and AC. This room was VERY pricey but as it was night and we were tired, we decided to stop anyway. This was NOT a room you would pay $200 for. More like $95. It was disappointing to say the least...

Because there are only seven hotels in Asheboro with about 500 rooms total and the demand on a Friday night in the summer is great, all of us raise our prices on the weekend; even the EconoLodge is over 100 on Friday night. Thank you for your past business.
