My stay here was pleasant and peaceful. The staff was very nice and polite. Everything about the hotel was neat and clean and the breakfast was great.

20 minutes from downtown Asheville

Pros: location for us, staff, room comfortable, quiet, and breakfast
Cons: needs some upgrades. it's older but adequate
Location: sierra nevada brewery,
Older hotel but it was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Close to the airport and Sierra Nevada Brewery (a must see). Save some $ and stay 20 minutes from Downtown (12 from THe Biltmore). Great breakfast.

Reasons for my rating 1. When checking in, attendant was rude about the frig not working in my room. She did offer another room but when I asked her if the frig worked in that room, her response was "don't know". Very short and rude. 2. They cater to the construction workers in town. They party all night and were very loud, slamming doors and yelling back and forth to each other in the hall way. Happened every night I was there. 3. Had a "do not disturb" sign on the door. A male employee walks right in my room. I was in bed in my under garments and he wanted to exchange a coffee maker. I did not request a new coffee maker and nothing was wrong with the one in my room. A do not disturb sign means do NOT disturb... not just walk in someone's room. There are better options.

Closest hotel to Asheville airport!

Pros: Convenience to airport
The outside of hotel is very dated but the room was clean and comfortable.

Close To Airport

Pros: The cleanliness and bed.
Cons: Shower
If you have an early flight out of Asheville and live a few hours away this is a perfect place to stay because it's just 4 minutes from the airport. You can also drop family off to overnight at the hotel for an early flight because they offer FREE 24 hour airport shuttle service. Our check in went smoothly and the staff were very professional. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We were disappointed with the shower. The bathroom it's self was well appointed and clean but the shower head and water pressure were awful. I'm not happy that the hotel had workers in the kitchen using a power washer in the middle of the night setting off the carbon monoxide alarms and causing an evacuation. Shocking way to be woken up and ordered out into the freezing cold. No blankets offered and told to stand outside of the entrance. They did offer the airport shuttle van for the elderly to sit in and keep warm which was good.

This hotel deserves an excellent rating. The room was awesome and had every amenity necessary for a weeks visit in the beautiful mountains of NC. The hotel provided a full hot breakfast and the adjoining restaurant "The Tavern" served lunch and supper- both excellent meals/service.

Convenient to airport

Required to stay because of late flight arrival. Unable to drive in the dark.

Long termers

Massive long term occupancy. Woke up at 3am by residents in the hall talking and laughing. Hall ways are drab and ugly
