Showing age

Posted Jan 7, 2016
While the king sized bed was relatively new and comfy, the pull out sofa was uncomfortable even by pull out sofa standards. The mattress was little better than sleeping on a piece of corrugated cardboard and many springs had given up any resemblance of effectiveness years ago. The updated bathroom was nice. Everything was clean but most of the facility was showing its age.

Thank you so much for stay. It's great to see that you enjoyed your time with us. We always want our guests to leave 100% happy which is why it was disappointing to read that the sofa bed in your room was not very comfortable. I know this was an inconvenience and hope you were still able to get a restful night's sleep. I will have our engineering team look into that particular sofa bed right away to see if it needs replacement. I appreciate you letting us know. It was wonderful to have you as our guest, and we hope you will return soon. Regards In Hospitality, Amy Moser General Manager

Clean Hotel

Posted Jan 3, 2016
Pros: Breakfast was good. Pleasant staff! Very clean.
Cons: Workout room was in between two hotel rooms. It says opened until 11 pm, but someone knocked on the wall, so I quit.
Location: Close to expressway.
We started off with an issue with our heater. The hotel sent someone up right away and we were moved to another room. Both rooms were clean and very comfortable (beds very comfortable). It was a Saturday night and heard doors slamming from other rooms all night.

Not impressed!

Posted Jan 2, 2016
Took the front desk person to come to the desk to check me in 10 minutes. I was just standing around waiting. As soon as I was finished checking in, the front desk person put her, I am helping another guest-will be back soon, back up and disappeared back to where she came from. The non smoking room had a cigarette burn on the bedspread. Outside of our room at 9:00 A.M. the maids were congregated outside of our room talking. We could hear them inside our room. If I wasn't already awake, that would have woke me up for sure. We had a hard time leaving the room with all of our stuff because their 3 maid carts were all bunched up right there as they were sharing photos from their phones and chit chatting away.

Thank you for your recent visit. I am glad to hear that you had an overall good stay with us. I regret that we did not did not live up to expectations. I will address the concerns you mentioned, regarding your check-in and noisy hallway discussions with my front desk and housekeeping teams to make sure we are consistently following policies and procedures so these situations are avoided in the future. We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon! Regards In Hospitality, Amy Moser General Manager

Not too shabby

This is a nice hotel for not too bad of a price. It was about 15 minutes from the Asheville outlets. Beds were pretty comfy and it was clean. I'd stay there again.

Very convenient to the Asheville airport.

Room service was not what we had hoped for. Orders had to be picked up at the bar. Food however was very good.

Acceptable but could have been better

Posted Dec 6, 2015
Pros: The shopping and dining available in the area. The front desk personnel were friendly and dedicated.
Cons: The housekeeping staff and their awareness of their surrounding CUSTOMERS!
Location: Lots of shopping and dining choices. I plan to go back to the area just to shop!
I called to verify room several hours before check in, since we were at a family holiday dinner, and was informed that the crib we requested 3 weeks in advance was not available. I was a bit displeased and explained to the desk clerk that had they notified me of this that morning it would have not been an issue because I had a pack & play at home, I was just cutting down on luggage. She assured me she would call the area hotels and try to find one for us. When we arrived she informed me that she had found a pack & play for us and I greatly appreciate her for her dedication to follow through with her word. The room was fine, comfortable with some space to move, although whomever vacuumed could have done a better job. The bed was comfortable and there was a great selection of pillows. I chose this hotel for the indoor pool since I was traveling with 3 grandchildren and wanted some activity to keep them busy while we were at the hotel in between visiting family in the area. But that didn't work out since the pool was closed due to filter issues. But we made due anyway. The breakfast was good and convenient and I was happy they offered breakfast until 10am since NONE of my crew are early risers. We were a bit inconvenienced by the area construction at the hotel entrance, but that was not within their control. What was EXTREMELY IRRITATING WAS THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF SLAMMING DOORS ON OUR 2ND & 3RD MORNINGS. As I stated, we are not early risers but we were up by 9am those mornings!

Great place to stay!

Posted Dec 1, 2015
We needed a one night stay for a quick visit to Asheville. We like the airport area because it is also close to Brevard and some microbreweries, as well as being near Asheville downtown. The hotel itself was actually quite nice. Clean, quiet, very comfortable! Perfect for our needs. This is not a luxury hotel but we were looking for clean, quiet, and very comfortable beds, and we got exactly that! It was well equipped with plenty of towels, soaps, good size TV, comfortable furniture. No odd smells or stains anywhere. The beds were as comfortable as any I've had in a 4 star hotel. I would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

Pros: The shuttle service.
The room was very clean. The staff members were accommodating and friendly. Shuttle service to the nearby airport was provided without delay and at no extra charge.
