Close to most attractions and restaurants

Outside of hotel wasn’t much to look at but interior of room was freshly updated and very clean.

No Way

To be honest, I didn't get beyond the parking lot of this "inn" in Asheville which I had booked on Expedia. Six or seven guys from a motorcycle gang loitering in front the motel. A tractor trailer rig in the small motel parking lot. Motorcycles and loud junk cars, a biker drinking beer outside the open door of his motel room. This at 4 pm on Saturday. I am going to come back at 10 PM with my family? I don't think so. I didn't even get out of my car. I drove away, And I would like a refund of the $220 I paid up front to Expedia for this experience, please.

Please accept our apologies that you felt unsafe to stay at our Days Inn. We have just finished remodeling and we have not been able to get the tractor trailer picked up yet. The old cars you saw in our parking lot were here for a old car show in the area. Our success is measured by guests having a pleasant stay at our Days Inn. probably not stay again

Pros: close to family ad just about only act in town!
Cons: Training your staff to be more cordial to customers. small refrigerator and microwave and a chair for the desk to use computer
This eais where we have stayed for the last 6 yrs or so when seeing family in the area. This time we were quite disappointed with our accomodations. No chair to sit at desk with, girl at check in was not helpful and bordered on rude. For some reason I am pretty sure I recall having a micro wave oven and refrigerator---not this time. Also I was told our room was on the 2nd floor and when I mentioned to check in girl, she reprimanded me for not putting that down when I reserved the room. A gentleman standing next to me offered to switch rooms very nicely and when she heard that she went out back ,came back to desk and said she had found something. Turned out right next to kitchen and very noisy early in the am as breakfast was being prepared. it was pretty close to 3pm when we checked in and there were many rooms available.

Nice, clean room. Firm mattress and a/c works well. All the basics except mini-refrigerator.

We arrived in a downpour. I asked the desk clerk if we could stay on the ground floor so we could pull right up to the front of our room and unload under the roof. He did exactly that . Very accommodating and we appreciated it!
