Stay in tower rooms if you stay there

The basic room we rented was WAY to small and dated. I also thought all the rooms had balconys but that wasn't the case. The next day we changed rooms and paid an extra $40 a night for a room with Queen beds and it was in the tower rooms- much better but still no balcony.
I thought the pool roof opened which was why I picked that hotel but it didnt. So that was a bummer with nice weather bc the kids didn't want to swim inside. everyone was nice and the second room was much better. I would say you want a tower room if you stay there. It was close to the Biltmore, but we were only at the Biltmore one day bc it's $50 a day to get on the estate. The Biltmore village is cute but not really somewhere that got the kids excited. I think it your going without kids, and you care about what's in the village it's a good option, but it's not walkable to Asheville downtown. It's about a 3-4 minute drive and then you have to find parking
