Very Responsive Staff.

First time at this hotel. Stayed 3 nights. Very clean and spacious and quiet room. Very kind, friendly and professional staff throughout my stay. I used the kitchenette which had no dishes, but no problem, the desk clerk gave me a bin of dishes and utensils. I was also loaned a phone charger since I. had forgotten mine. I will stay at this hotel every time I visit Asheville. Oh, and very easy to get downtown.

Horrible, unprofessional and incompetent staff

Check in began at 3pm and we arrived well after that around 4:30-5pm and we were told a room was not available for us because they were short on cleaning staff and we had to wait about 20-30 min before we could go to our room. The room was relatively clean but the bed was incredibly hard and we did not sleep well. The room was noisy and we heard the people in other rooms all around us and in the hall way. The room was hot and the AC did not seem to cool the room very well. To top it off, we went to check out and the gentleman behind the counter, who did not look professional (was on his cell phone and was wearing a t-shirt, was confused as to if he even worked there), told us that we could not check out because the girl who was supposed to be there 15 min ago was late and he did not have access to the computer system... Why this hotel has staff members who cannot access the computer and help guests is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. We had to wait an additional 15-20 min until the girl came into work to check us out.

Need Cleaner Looking Linens

The bed linens didn't look too clean..other than that, the room was fine
