Clean hotel, quick and easy check in

The hotel was located near the I-26 and convenient. It was clean and quick and easy check in. Friendly staff. The only negative is the free breakfast is not very appealing. The fruit wasn't fresh and the oatmeal was soupy.

Mountain visit

Pros: Very clean, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: New mattresses
Location: Downtown Hendersonville quaint, good food, decent prices. Close to Lake Lure, Ashville, hiked triple falls where hunger games was filmed. Great time.
Everyone and everything was wonderful. Only wish mattress was more comfortable.

Noise and comfort

Pros: It was very clean.
Cons: Change the pillows and have the air conditioning corrected.
Location: Good location, close to the major highway. Center to most things to see.
The air conditioner in the room ran all the time. It didn't matter where you set it at. It also blew cold air when set higher. Pillows were like rags with no support.

Terribly disappointed

We were put into a handicapped room, and the shower head couldn't be used from a stationary position without flooding the entire bathroom, which happened numerous times, which I personally cleaned up, on our hands and knees. My wife and I are both over 68 years old but by no means handicapped. Certainly too old to be mopping up the entire bathroom floor on our hands and knees! I travel for a living and stay at Hilton properties whenever there is one where I'm staying. I informed the manager of this problem the next morning, expecting an apology and a room change. I was very cordial and careful not to allow other customers hear me. At that point I wasn't even upset. Well the manager all but told me that's what I get for booking through Expedia. We were on vacation and had the whole week booked. I am a professional who deals with the public and see the fault being with the manager who failed to take care of us as I would have expected from a Hilton manager. All the other staff were great. As things stand right now, I can't imagine that I will ever stay at another Hilton property, even though I've never had a problem at any other one.

The hotel was fine, however Expedia personnel informed me prior to making the reservation that I would definitely have a handicap room. When we arrived we found out there were no handicap rooms available. I do not like being lied to and I am not sure I will use Expedia again. The only fault I had with the hotel was that they did not have one shower chair for their patrons to use.

Staying near friend's house

Staff very nice. Check in and out easy. Room comfortable but airconditioner fan smelled like old feet and baby powder for 3 days and was a little nauseating. Fire alarm went off early morning in room because battery was low and it was never replaced while we were there. Toilet barely flushed. Breakfast decent and people preparing it were super nice.would recommend if ventilation system sterilized!

Nice Hotel, Close to Everything

Pros: Convenience of location.
Cons: Maybe a little more scrub in the shower.
Location: Hendersonville, Asheville, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock
Our stay was very pleasant. It's not a 5 star resort, but it is not advertised as such! It was quiet, comfortable and for the most part, clean. Would stay here again!
