NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Posted Dec 24, 2016
We were a little late for check in because of a wreck (Arrived at 6pm). Staff are accommodating and try to make your experience positive but the negatives for us far out-weighed the positives. There was mold in the shower, not enough hot water to fill the spa tub, one towel was dirty. The power button to the jetted tub fell off when trying to turn the jets on. We called expedia to try and get a refund but the hotel manager refused, so we stayed so we wouldn't lose $250. The "full breakfast" was a bowl of mixed fruit, a croissant bun with one egg, slice tomatoe, cheese, quarter size slice of avocado and one thumb size slice of mushroom on top, and choice of bread (banana or a cookie). We asked for water and they brought one glass for the two of us. No refill on juice and it was about a 4 oz cup. You will leave hungry unless you fill up on bread. Not much better than a continental breakfast with less of a selection. We were asked where we worked and received complaints about their power bill being too expensive (one of us works for a utility company- complaining about the company we work for doesn't make for a "stress free" atmosphere). It's at least a 30 minute drive to Asheville and is not in the best location either. We would never return to this location... Pay just a little extra and stay in Asheville. Positives: Bed was somewhat comfortable.

Everything was amazing for a bed-and-breakfast except for the fact that there was no one on the premises in the evening to light the fireplace

Small, boutique B&B; beautifully furnished, friendly helpful staff; roomy; gorgeous oasis in the middle of Hendersonville.

WELL WORTH THE DRIVE

Pros: EVERYTHING. THE CHARM, COZINESS, COMFORT AND THE STAFF LEAVE NOTHING TO BE DESIRED.
Cons: PERFECTION NEEDS NO IMPROVEMENTS.
Location: MY WIFE AND I HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME WALKING DOWN MAIN STREET. THE MOST QUAINT SHOPS, WONDERFUL EATING ESTABLISHMENTS AND FRIENDLY FACES.
IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE FROM ARRIVAL TO DEPARTURE.

Excellent Bed & Breakfast in a Perfect Location!

The Melange is a Bed and Breakfast, so it is a different experience compared to staying at a hotel. Very nice and quite. The room was very large and comfortable. The best part was the beautiful garden breakfast room with excellent food and excellent service.
