Cabin in the woods
We had such a great time at this cabin. The location is perfect. It’s such a great property with this rustic cabin tucked in the woods. However, you are only five minutes away from Asheville with all of the restaurants and shopping. The pond is so pretty, especially first thing in the morning. It was so quiet and you can sit on the porch in the morning, sipping your coffee and viewing the wildlife. The owner was available For questions and was very open and welcoming. The cabin has everything that you could possibly need. All we had to bring was food. We plan to return in the future, hopefully for an entire week. The weekend went by much too fast.

Met with five friends at this location that had 20 full acres to explore. Awesome fire pit! Beautiful interior that gives a great mountain/cabin feel. Inside was built from wood from the wood mill across the street. $12 Uber to downtown. Down the street from Highland Brewing. We will be back was a great time with a lot of space and on-site activities.

Charming, Secluded, PERFECT GETAWAY!!!
We stayed at the cabin for a week an it couldn't have been better! Perfect location, secluded but yet close & convenient to the Biltmore, breweries & downtown Asheville. Owners Michele & Don were great, excellent communication! They gave us great suggestions and tips for travel around the area. Super friendly and accommodating! Then property itself on a beautiful setting complete with a pond, firepit and horse in the meadow. Cabin very clean and had everything we needed and more! So awesome having morning coffee looking out over the pond at the horse and wild turkeys in the meadow! Thanks Michele & Don, we will get back! 10 STARS********** Kelly & Julia

We couldn’t have had a better experience and stay. From the frozen pond to the 20 acres to run on. The cabin was cozy and we had more than enough room for all four of us. We loved the true wood burning stove and the wood finishing throughout the house. It was central located to downtown Asheville and skiing. Thank y’all so much

Peaceful retreat close to Asheville
Michelle and Don were super hosts.. Check-in was flawless, the place was exactly as listed on the website. The grounds were neat and well kept. Abundant firewood for the fireplace and outside fire pit. We enjoyed the pond and the outdoor area as much as possible. . (Hurricane Ian) was present during much of our stay. Don checked in on us and invited us to tour the sawmill across the way. It was a perfect stay and we will be back.

Very private, but close to everything
The host is very personable, and attentive. The property is well stocked with the things we needed. The property feels very secluded, despite being only a few minutes from restaurants, groceries, and breweries. Downtown is only about 15 minutes away, and we didn’t really encounter major traffic problems between there and the cabin. Well worth it.

Great location for exploring Asheville
This property was fantastic for our family of five (adults and older teens plus two dogs). It's only ten minutes from downtown, but it's secluded and feels like it's up in the mountains all by itself. Lots of good food and beer in the area if you don't want to go downtown. Working with the owners was seamless and they were fantastic to deal with. Definitely a jewel in the Asheville area. We had a great weekend!

Cute!!
The house was in a great location, quiet, and had a fully stocked kitchen! The house is dog friendly so could use a deep clean but was a great space for relaxing with an easy 10 mins ride to Asheville attractions.

Great getaway on beautiful property
Stayed here with my wife, 4 year old and 1 year old. The pictures do not do the property justice. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. From rafts, to fishing poles (we caught several bass). My 4 year old loved swimming in the pond and jumping off the dock. So convenient to everything in Asheville.. Hillman brewery is a couple miles down the road and a nice little coffee shop is just over a mile away. So much fun was had here we did not want to leave!

Amazing and wonderful
This house is amazing. The location is perfect - you feel like you’re in the woods, but you can go grab takeout super easily. The house is stunning - I will miss the master shower so much. The internet was great - we ran a VPN and virtual school all day with no problems for anyone. The fire pit, the pond, the supplies…including fishing poles and pool noodles for the pond. We couldn’t ask for more. We will absolutely be back. Our dog adored hanging out and running laps around the pond.

Great time relaxing.
Everything was perfect! Would stay here again and hope to! Spent every evening by the fire watching the sun set and stars come out. Watched deer eat the corn from a distance. Listened to the symphony of the peepers. Fed the horse in the field in front of the house. Fished in the pond. The owners are so nice and helpful. Watched them working at their mill. Our dog was welcome too! So close to everything in Asheville. Loved it!

Great Stay
This property feels like you are way out in the country yet just a 10 minute drive downtown Asheville and maybe 20 minutes to the airport. Neat, clean and comfortable, what more could you ask for! May not have a view of the mountains but sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch looking at the trees and swim pond make up for that. Michelle was friendly and accommodating as she filled us in on places to see, places to eat and what local activities were going on during our stay. Absolutely will come back to this property on our return trip to Asheville.

Just what we needed
In a time of COVID, we needed a chance to get away for a few days and this fit the bill. Accompanied by my 90 year old mother, my adult children and I stayed here for three nights. It is conveniently located, has a limited number of stairs and is all on one floor. The location made it easy to get to all the destinations we intended to visit, and the swimming pond was an added bonus. We felt well informed before we arrived, the kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed seeing the horse, deer, heron, duck and other wildlife. The property is off a fairly busy road (limiting my long walks), but we were not bothered by the nearby sawmill at all. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and just what we needed.
