Really like this hotel

Posted Dec 7, 2017
This was the second time I’ve stayed here. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is great, but most of all the staff is amazing. So polite, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend the Bard’s Inn. (And the breakfast that is included is very nice too)

Eh...

Small rooms, right next to main street, slider wouldn't close all the way, heater and shower both took forever to get going and warm.

Pros: the staff and the breakfast. It was great to have parking walking distance to downtown.
Their breakfast is wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Convenient parking.

Bard’s Inn was great! Close to downtown Ashland and to the Shakespeare Festival. Only drawback was the room was a little small, but recently renovated

This is a Motel with Motel lobby

Posted Oct 21, 2017
Pros: Good breakfast and breakfast in large separate building
Cons: More realistic photos on website
I don't typically do reviews as travel much for work and don't have time but I felt burned when arrived to this Motel with a little lobby which didn't look much like the pictures on the website. No interior hallway and cars parked 4' from your front door. You can hear every step the person makes above you and thank goodness the person above me didn't move around much, very lucky it wasn't one of those heavy footed travelers above. The breakfast was good in a large separate building so that made up for some of the disappointment. I wasn't too thrilled with older woman at check in who complained that Washington driver licenses have too small of print and never did break out a smile :(
