“Great time. Friendly staff and clean rooms”

“Very clean and comfortable. Key cards randomly stopped working one afternoon which was unexpected and unexplained, but it was taken care of quickly.”

“The property is very unique. The decor in our room was beach themed. Loved the rain shower in the shower. The bed was very comfortable. Being so close to the lake and sitting on our balcony listening to the waves was wonderful. There is also a walking path between the hotel and the lake. The property offers a small cafe with food, craft cocktails, coffee, and ice cream. We really enjoyed our stay. Although it is located next to the highway, it is very quiet. We did not hear any traffic……

“Location was beautiful on Lake Superior and being able to sit on porch and see sunset over the lake was breathtaking. Front desk sraff very friendly. However, room was a bit outdated and did not get room cleaned with fresh towels for a 2 night stay.”

“We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.”

“The picture on Expedia wasn’t what we saw. We stayed in a room with a queen bed and bathroom. The place itself was very unique and in an out of the way area. We were the only ones who stayed who were traveling through. The other guests were guys who worked in the area. We thought for what we paid, it was ok. No TV in room, but there was a Keurig for our morning coffee. Great views to look at.”

“Convenient to the Apostle Islands cruise docks, very east access to restaurants and shops. Allowed me to leave my car after I checked out so I could go on the cruise to the Apostle Islands without moving the car off their lot”

“Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!”
