Fantastic Hotel!

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Spacious Rooms Quiet environment: adult centred Beautiful views, away from the centre of town Shuttle service to town/airport
Cons: Nothing
Location: We loved the location! It's a short shuttle ride to Aspen Mountain for skiing.
This was our second visit to Aspen Meadows. The hotel is quiet and it's well away from the centre of Aspen, however there are regular shuttles and it's a pleasant twenty minute stroll into town. The rooms are spacious and clean, the housekeeping is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the large pool which is divided into lanes so you can do some serious swimming after a day on the mountain! The staff are very friendly and willing to please, making our stay all the more enjoyable. This is a great resort if you are wanting some peace and tranquility and enjoy a 360 degree backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.

Comfortable & enjoyable

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: Location, pool, bauhaus style architecture, staff, character
Cons: The only thing that wasn't perfect was the parking garage was a decent walk from the hotel room and it was a haul to bring luggage to/from the room.
Location: Wonderful location, great views of the mountains and the roaring fork. I loved that it was off the beaten path. Wonderful walking/biking trails onsite
We had a wonderful girls weekend. The hotel offered nice privacy and wonderful amenities. We enjoyed the pool, the restaurant, the quiet rooms and the proximity to town.

Very close to everything and convenient.

Had a great time at this hotel. Front desk was excellent each time we needed them. Came for my 37th birthday. The shuttle service picked us up from airport which was 5 min away. Lance at the front desk helped a great deal when it came to finding the perfect restaurant. Make sure you eat at Steakhouse No. 316....can't go wrong at this place :-)

Great hotel in Aspen

Posted Mar 20, 2017
A wonderful hotel honoring a modernist design aesthetic in every detail. Huge rooms and bucolic setting on the edge of Aspen; one is in the heart of the town in a few minutes via shuttle that runs throughout the day; staff very professional. Jacuzzi and pool have fabulous views. A great find!

Dear Franz, Thank you for being our guest and for the fantastic review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our unique Bauhaus aesthetic and had the opportunity to take advantage of our many resort amenities. Couldn't have asked for more

Beautiful location that felt like it was out in the country, yet only a 5 minute free shuttle ride into Aspen. Great architecture of the hotel with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were some of the most friendly people I have ever met. Breakfast is great, again with a very nice view. I guess this place flies below the radar of a lot of travelers because its a little outside of town. I hindsight I doubt we could have found anything better for what we spent. We rented snowshoes for free, beautiful walk down to the river trails. We swam laps outside in a heated pool while it was snowing, then jumped in the hot tub. I would highly recommend this resort.

Second class through Hotels.com

Posted Mar 12, 2017 on Hotels
Had a work issue where I needed to check out a few days early. I was told that since I booked through Hotels.com that they would still have to charge me the full amount. My question is why do business through Hotels.com if you hold their customers to a lower standard and have different levels of customer service.
