very nice hotel blocks away from the lifts

Pros: we liked everything from customer service, food, room and location.
Cons: no
Location: in the middle of aspen town walking distance to everything.
we really enjoyed our stay in the limelight hotel, everybody was helpful and the location its perfect just a short walk from the lifts, restaurants and shopping. We liked the breakfast buffet very convenience and the room very clean and spacious.

Nice hotel in the middle of Aspen

We were only there for one night but our stay was great. We arrived a little early and we're hoping to get in to our room but it was not ready. The desk clerk said she would call us if it became ready earlier but unfortunately that didn't happen for us but that's how it goes. Once we were settled in, it was a beautiful room - modern and clean and eco-friendly. Unfortunately no balcony which we really like. And they charge three dollars each for the two bottles of water provided. I thought that was a little extreme as the room rate was almost $200 and should've been included. There was however a lovely breakfast included which went way beyond expectations. The front desk clerk I think his name was Blake gave excellent directions and information on finding the maroon bells and wildlife in the area . We would definitely go back!

Steps from shops on a peaceful boulevard this hotel is a welcome retreat without any of the pomp one might expect when staying in Aspen.

Unexpected Resort Fee Not Explained at Check In

Location: Good location
We found the facilities, and particularly the rooms, to be welcoming and large. But at check out we were charged a "Resort Fee" that was NOT included in the Expedia price. We were offered "free breakfast" at check-in which we thought was terrific, but then found out that our one donut and 3 cups of coffee cost us the resort fee! It would be like airlines not showing the taxes and fees in their quoted price. Shouldn't be allowed. If a hotel wants to charge a "Resort Fee", it should be explained up front.

Our resort fee covers a lot basis which includes the following: • transfers to and from the Aspen airport; • use of the Fitness Center; • high speed / wireless internet service; • domestic phone calls • ski concierge & Storage (winter only) • Transportation to and from the ski areas (winter only) • Newspapers • All housekeeping gratuities We are not trying to hide anything, as Expedia explains and sends out a confirmation e-mail which explains that the resort fee is not included. Close to downtown

We walked to all the great shops galleries and excellent restaurants. Hotel amenities included pool hot tub bar and hotel food were also very nice.

Great hotel, modern room but still has western style. Breakfast was delish and part of the deal. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hot tub at 7:00 PM IS THE BEST.

Great day in Aspen and the Limelight

Pros: Location, staff, amenities
Cons: Parking is a bit of a pain but it is everywhere in Aspen.
Hotel is centrally located a couple of blocks from the gondola and all the shops and restaurants. Our room was on the top floor with a huge private balcony - overlooked the town and the slopes. Had a great meal in the restaurant that night.

Great Hotel Experience

My wife and I recently stayed at the Limelight hotel, for our one year wedding anniversary. The hotel staff was great and really made us feel special. The hotel and it's staff made for a great one year anniversary. We will definitely come back to visit.

Limelight lives up to it full name!

The hotel was smack down in the middle of town, great location! The price for my stay was very reasonable. The hotel lobby was popping almost every night. Need directions to a couple of spots in town, the young lady (Helen) was over the top with recommendations and suggestions to hit up! Excellent staff!
