Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and great customer service (from arrival at the airport to our departure). I will definitely be returning soon!

Beautiful Hotel

This hotel is within walking distance to down town. It has a beautiful lobby with a large fireplace. The room is quite comfortable with views of the steamy hot tubs. The staff has been quite friendly. I highly recommend it.

girls trip to aspen was perfect ! Limelight hotel is a great location to all restaurants and activities. Staff was welcoming and always willing to answer any questions about the area.

Pros: The hotel and staff where great and the location was ideal.
Cons: The above mentioned bathroom issue is a real pet peeve of mine, I just don't understand the logic in this.
I'm in the health care industry and I can't understand how health departments allow hotels to put the coffee maker, ice bucket and glassware in bathrooms. In this hotel there is a shelf on front below the sink which is less than 1 1/2 ft from the toilet and this is where all the coffee cups and glasses are kept. Now we all know the bathroom especially in this case would be the dirtiest and the worst place for public health concerns. I send similar complaints to every hotel chain I stay at that follows this practice and to state agencies that inspect them, yet nothing changes and state health departments do nothing about i. Think about it, would you put your clean glasses at home next to a toilet, yet alone in a public place and then drink from them ?

We understand that cleanliness of the room is a vital part of a hotel stay and therefore I am very grateful for your comments. We have only a few Standard Hotel rooms at our hotel where you will find a coffee maker placed in our bathroom so that we would not sacrifice our offerings in a standard category room. I am personally very proud of our housekeeping department and their attention to detail for cleanliness and their high standards. Please know that we will be taking your remarks and looking into option to improve the placement of the coffee maker. Location: You can walk to everything!
We loved staying at the Limelight, and if we return to Aspen, we will stay there again without checking another hotel, as we were very happy with the location, staff, cleanliness, size of room, and the facility itself. Also, parking can be quite tricky in town, and it's so nice to be able to park your car and just walk everywhere without any worries. We were on a 2-week vacation traveling around Colorado, and the Limelight was one of our favorites!

Thank you for your comments. You are right, a car is superfluous with our location on the edge of the core of town. We also provide quick transportation within town in the event a walk seems a bit long.
