Disgusting carpet!

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: Wonderful continental breakfast
Cons: replace/clean/sweep carpets
Location: Aquatic center, Ft. Stevens park/beach
The carpet was absolutely filthy! Stains all over and food particles behind the furniture. The hallways had a funky smell.

I'm sorry your experience wasn't pleasant. We will be replacing carpets this fall.

Perfect location. Very clean.

Posted Sep 4, 2017
The hotel was perfectly located near everything we wanted to see in Astoria. Most of the time we were able to park the car and walk everywhere. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. They provided a breakfast that was better than many hotels, including hot foods.

The seals noise was terrible. I would recommend a room without a view to avoid noise.

The sea lions can be noisy. The hillside rooms are quieter for light sleepers.

Loved this Hotel - will be back

Posted Aug 27, 2017
Pros: Exceeded our expectations - see above.
Cons: The seals can be a little loud...particularly when trying to sleep...
Location: Riverwalk right by hotel, and train stop. Excellent location!
Great location for fisher folks - right next to fish cleaning station, gas, and grocery store. Pool/hot tub/sauna open 24/7 - so nice to come home to after a long cold day of fishing. You have a front-row seat to the seals, who also bark on 24/7. We got used to them (stayed 5 nights), but this may not be for those who like complete silence. Room was good size, comfy, good breakfast, and excellent location - we'll be back!

Comfortable and with a pool

Posted Aug 25, 2017
Pros: Pool, close to downtown, comfortable beds, coffee and lemon water available all the time in lobby
Cons: The breakfast was not exciting we ended up skipping it, the pool are could have some more chairs and updating.
Location: We spent 10am to 3pm near Astoria - started with Astoria column, then Iredale shipwreck, and finished with 2 hours at Fort Stevens (fascinating).
At the last minute I booked a night in Astoria, unknowing that a big regatta weekend was coming. I had trouble finding any rooms with 2 queens so this was it. The hotel was nice, clean, with a pool, right near a grocery, and just a few miles from the downtown area.

My Experience

Posted Aug 21, 2017
Pros: The pool and hot tub
Cons: Hotel service
The front desk girl was not pleasant at all. We didn't get any maid service. We had a lot of wet towels because out 2 kids went swimming. We went down to the desk to get more towels and then we just put our old towels in the hallway that evening.

Nice hotel in Astoria

Posted Aug 6, 2017
Pros: Spacious room, nice bed, friendly and helpful staff, location on the river walk.
Location: The hotel is located about 1 mile from downtown. Safeway is one block away. You can drive to the column to see the spectacular views on the river.
We stayed there for just 1 night, on our way to Newport. We really liked the hotel, and our stay there was very comfortable.

Our hotel does have an elevator directly behind the front desk. I apologize for the housekeeping issue.
