I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed by the check-in experience. The check-in time was clearly stated as 2pm, and I arrived at the hotel at 3pm, expecting a smooth process. However, my expectations were far from met.
After completing all the necessary paperwork, I was asked to wait in the lobby for my room assignment. 30 long minutes passed, and I decided to approach a receptionist for an update. To my surprise, the receptionist responded with a curt "Sorry" and walked away without offering any further information. I had been initially attended to in English, so language wasn't a barrier here.
Frustrated by the lack of communication, I approached another receptionist and inquired about the delay. She informed me that I would need to wait for another 20 minutes as the housekeeping staff were occupied. This was a considerable inconvenience, as I had to cancel a scheduled ticket collection appointment due to the delay.
To make matters worse, when I finally checked into my room around 4pm, I discovered that I had been given two separate single beds instead of the queen bed I had requested. The beds could have been placed together.
The only bright spot in my stay here was a receptionist helped to arrange a taxi for me during check-out.
In conclusion, this accommodation does not worth the high price paid given the extreme delay in check-in, room assignment mishap, terrible customer service and average room condition.
